“I’ve been a frequent customer of family dollar for the past few years we moved into the south so I go to the family dollar in the old save-a-lot plaza. I have to say the store has done a complete 180 in the Best possible way (since new management a couple weeks ago). Sometime in May I went in to grab a few things, I was waiting at the front register(ringing the bell) for almost five minutes for the girl to come up(not apologize) she was just annoyed that I had interrupted her break. BUT Now I go in, There is significantly more employees, and the staff is super friendly and helpful! I believe it was Tom who helped me last night because one of the “smart coupons” wasn’t working, and it just makes such a difference when you have good customer service!Caitlin:)”

“I stopped in Saturday after eating breakfast at the Cuban place next door and was psyched to find a spin rack of paperbacks by the store entrance. The books cost $3 and among books by Christine Feehan, Tom Clancy, and John Sanford, I found News of the World by Paulette Jiles, a novel that was made into an excellent Tom Hanks movie. Most Dollar Generals don't have a paperback rack so this was a nice discovery. The rest of the store was the expected fare. In addition to the Jiles novel I bought some pickle-flavored Dorito's that tasted like an experiment gone wrong.”

“The cashiers are always super nice and helpful. Even though it's a new store, I'm a regular, was a regular at the other one on SR16, but now this one is closer to home, and as far as some other "rude" reviews, the cashiers rarely get smoke break and have NEVER made anyone wait! (Just because you don't smoke, you shouldn't judge another persons ability to work that has nothing to do with it) This is the best Dollar General in St. Johns.”

“My favorite place to shop so far. However some products have increased and i have to do 1 third shopping elsewhere. That's the only part besides being short on certain stocks sometimes. May i suggest a super dollar general in this area?”

Everyone seems friendly and helpful if you ask them, there's just not enough people working there for the amount of people that need help in the afternoon it seems to me at least. And they only have one self checkout. Other than that they usually keep everything in stock and a fairly clean store.”

“The dollar Tree rocks the casba. I went there and got a much better deal on my 40 bags of gummy then I would have that the actual Dollar store and cost me much less. The dollar store in 207 was closed it is only open now from 8 to 3 p.m. due to no staff.”
