The doctor here are good. The front office is horrible. Do you want a front office that treats you like a number and not a person. Then this is the place for you. Do you want a place that calls you up and does not introduce who they are or who they represent. They just ask your name. Then this is the place for you. Do you want a front office that you have to call the remind to put in your prescription. Then this is the place for you. Do you want a place that changes your appointment time because they do a bad job scheduling. Then this is the place for you. Do you want a place that tells you to go to urgent care instead of coming in. This is the place for you.

The Internal Medicine Associates and Dr. Carames are wonderful. I do not know what the other reviews are talking about. I am very choosy when it comes to doctors and trust me when I say that this place is better than most. The staff is VERY professional and always busy making sure all the records are correct and up to date. Dr. Carames is so professional and he actually listens to your concerns and answers all questions that you may have. I highly recommend this Association and Dr. Carames to anyone looking for a Primary or Internist.

TIME TO RETIRE DR. CARAMES!! You are booked until November? Sending overflow elsewhere and not responding to longtime patients. My husband has been your patient for MANY years and I was shocked at his treatment (non-treatment) by your office. He has been very sick for twelve days now, fever every night, has lost twenty-six pounds.Call me old fashioned, but my doctor would ‘fit me in’ or at least contact me himself if he knew I was that ill. To be fair, he did get to see a different doctor in your office, one week ago. That doctor wrote it off as a Covid-like flu that he is seeing often. No blood work, no meds. But he did want to talk politics?? I know this because I drove him to the appointment and was waiting in the car. The parking lot was full. Lucky for you!My husband is not getting better. Here we are brainstorming who to call, where to go???Because he can’t rely on HIS own doctor to be there when he needs him the most. No doctor is that good.

No follow through with office staff.Scripts not sent to pharmacy. Vital medical equipment prescribed was never followed up on by staff. Multiple phone calls never returned. Completely inept.

I met Dr Carames while I worked at the hospital, went to him as a new patient and have not regretted it. He is attentive and listens to my requests and concerns, finds solutions and alternatives. He’s definitely an A+ doctor!!! His professionalism is more then just professional, but he almost has the ability to put his self in his patients shoes in order to give them the cares they deserve.

One of the best Doctor's in area. I went through 5 doctors before I found him. He truly cares about his patients. Very professional. Have recommend him to many people who have relocated to Palm Coast/ St Augustine area!!! He is excellent!!!
