Placed an order online using a BOGO promotion, but it got cancelled due to an “inventory discrepancy”. I went in the store, found the product and asked why my order was cancelled if the product is right here. I was told that it was probably because of the profit margin. So basically if they can’t make a certain percentage off of the sale, they have the right to cancel your order even though there is a promotion for that product or price and you’re able to place the order online. It’s a scam and I’m really surprised that GNC would treat customers like this.

Manager was super rude and pushy wanted me to get a 250 mg caffeine pre-workout when i said i didn’t want stim. When i returned it and said i’m gonna get one my personal trainer who used to work at a different gnc suggested with 154 mg of caffeine he said “yeah we’ll i’ve been running this for ten years” and then proceeded to say my trainer “didn’t know what he’s talking about”. For reference im a 140lbs girl that definitely does not need 250mg of caffeine. He suggested i half scoop it.

The manager was pushy trying to get me to buy the most expensive thing. Spent time reading some diffrent options ans he huffed and puffed and made it into a big deal. So pushy ill buy online from now on close the place down so he can go find another job with his people skills.

Not a fan of this GNC, as a young woman I always feel very uncomfortable being in there by myself. They have a decent selection of products for it's size and its more convenient to me so I've given it a few chances but I'm always disappointed and feel uncomfortable. They're never necessarily outright rude but the management style just brings an energy to the store that I don't like. None of the employees are ever wearing face masks either(at least anytime I've been in).I will go out of my way by 15/20 mins to go to the GNC location at the Outlets instead where I've had nothing but inviting and helpful experiences... That location answers questions without talking down to you or pushing products just because they want to sell it and not because its a good fit for you. Different management styles show very clearly in my opinion.

Just went to the store on st Augustine south drive and was blown away by the condescending attitude of the cashier. I asked a simple question about the difference between two products and was told "Thats not what you want. That is for Guys that already have muscle" and then got lectured on lactic acid build up and asked if it was my first time buying pre workout. As someone with a bachelors in exercise science, and who works out hard, and frequently I was incredibly offended and really just speechless. I love GNC but I probably won't go back to this location. The cashiers are there to sell product and answer questions not make sexist comments and give unsolicited "advice"

Stopped by in September while visiting St. Augustine to pick up some Super Digestives since I'd left mine at home and knew I'd need them. The store was clean, neat and organized. The fella behind the counter was helpful and knowledgable. My beau, a former GNC owner chatted with him at length about the store, while I browsed. I found some Aloe caps I needed too and bought them both. I was happy with the service I received.
