I went in yesterday and Tina was absolutely amazing!! Extremely polite friendly and really helped me alot. Had to go back in this morning Jan ( found out later she was the owner) WOW!! She was NOT friendly at all from the moment I walked in. When I asked her if she could notarize something, she told me I would have to wait until the next person came in. I said very politely, oh, you're not a notary? Then the attitude came out, and she said that she was a notary, but she said that she was the only one there had to work the counter and didn't have time to do it. At that time there was NO OTHER CUSTOMER in the store!!!! Glad she had time to call in her coffee & biscuit she had time for that. Apparently that is more important than customers. Needless to say I will never ever recommend this place nor will I go back.I will be happy to take my business elsewhere. I'm NOT about to spend my hard earned money
to a company who doesn't know how to treat people. Just a little advice for you Jan, If you own a business you really should be nice to your customers.
Yah you did help me with a few things. That's your job. You got your money. You obviously knew I was stressed out therefore you should have been nicer to me. You had a rude demeaner from the time I stepped through the door. Try & be a better human to the next person

Had my package stolen from here. Accidentally dropped it off with an expired label but with the correct return details, and I never saw it again. Came in about 2 weeks after I dropped it off after hearing nothing about it being shipped in my email, and they said they know nothing. They told me they would call the shippers that take their packages and call me back, but they never did. My package was worth a pretty penny, as the company name of the box I shipped it in indicated. I'll do a better job of hiding those details next time I ship a package, and I won't be shipping a package from this store anymore.

First time at this location and certainly won't be my last! Before I arrived I had to call to ask some questions since I was so confused with the best way to ship my items. Tina answered and was super patient and kind with answering all my questions and providing all of my options. When I went into the store, Tina also helped me in person and was again sweet, compassionate, understanding, and patient. I really appreciate all of her help and kindness!

I can't say enough about Goin Postal and the staff there. Just so nice and helpful every time I go there. . Jan is amazing always helpful goes above and beyond to help in any and all situations. All I can say is GREAT PLACE and GREAT PEOPLE!!!!!!!

made a 9:10 appt for fingerprinting, got there at 9:09 no one in line, handed my ID to worker, then this other lady comes in after me and says she is there for fingerprinting and had a 9:00 appointment, so because she is 10 minutes late and I am on the time that I scheduled and paid for ON TIME ARRIVAL, they punish me by making me wait for the lady who came in after me to go first, I think that’s very rude to reward someone who is late to their appointment and postpone me when I was on time for the the TIME SLOT I PAID FOR, I scheduled this time because I had somewhere to be so it’s very unfortunate to have been treated this way as if my time isn’t important and that it’s better to be late than to arrive at your scheduled appointment time

As a visitor to this country I wanted to send a parcel but had no idea how to go about it. I came to Going Postal and was greeted by Tina. Her customer service was exceptional, not only did she package up my parcel she labelled it and made sure it was good to go. Her manner was very pleasant and we had a lovely chat, you really should come to England by the way. Thoroughly recommend this place and person.

Jan, the owner of "going postal", had a rude attitude towards me when I suggested she place my outgoing mail in a safer place than in an open tray by the window chairs. That was the point of my coming inside to mail safely as possible. The open sign was on, and the door unlocked around 9am on a Sat. She used such a rude tone speaking to me, saying the lights were not on inside yet. She grabbed my letters and threw them in a bend, becoming so agitated. This store is in a convenient location for me, but I don't want to go back!

Here is another one star review for going postal; I will take my business somewhere else and all of the business that I have referred to them will also be directed somewhere else.
I've shipped probably 50 packages through them, mostly high dollar amount items anywhere from 1 to 4 thousand dollars with no issue, minus the part of some of the employee's not really having working knowledge of their jobs.
Recently I sent a package of an Item that was right around the two thousand dollar mark. Fedex destroyed the item in shipping and going postal filed a claim for me.. "incorrectly", they filed another claim and Fedex sent them a $100 check which they told me I could pickup at anytime.
Fedex said their policy is that items must have a declared value or else their policy is to refund a maximum of $100 USD.
Out of the numerous times I've shipped items from this facility, I was never once asked to declare a value on the item or If I wanted insurance on it. I assumed that if I'm paying $40-60 to ship an item that weights less than 4 lbs that if my package was damaged during transit I would think the shipping company would make it right; the fact is they will not because of their policy.
The earnest falls on the shipping facility - Going Postal in this situation to ask for a declared value and if it's an expensive item and they destroy it in transit you will be able to recover your funds hopefully.
So now because of the lack of professionalism, attention to detail and overall just an underwhelming understanding of their job responsibilities, I was stuck losing almost $2,000 for an item.
I called them yesterday and gave them a chance to make it right; in which case they tried to argue with me about anecdotal what if's and more what if outcomes.
I certainly know that in the long run this review and my word of mouth will cost them more then it would then to just make it right; instead of blaming me and saying I was the problem.
That's not how you do good business.
