Store manager in st augustine florida very rude, cuts off customer, talks down and tells me corporate will say the same thing, its corporate policy. Was looking to buy 40-1/2x48 small trailer, was told needed to put in my name and and i cant put in reacue name, have to goto dmv to have that done. i said i'll call coporate, was told better off going to dmv cause coporate will say same thing as store manager. I called corporate and surprise I was right. I was trying to buy a trailer under a 501c3 non profit rescue and corporate said I could put under rescue but manager refused and said I had to put my name, telling me dot laws etc she didnt have accurate info. Right off bat store manager had attitude, would not let me speak or anything. I called another harbour freight and surprise store manager said it can go in non profit name with sunbiz info. Will be definitely contacting that store manager area supervisor. Nothing worse then someone like this manager talking about stuff she dosent know anything about. Worse part was manager saying it's corporate policy and when I had corporate on the phone saying diffrent and then the manager was rude with attitude to corporate. Called corporate again and filed a official complaint on how I was treated and in behalf of the corporate rep.
I'm gonna be a petty mf now, after going to another tractor supply store and the st aug manager told the other manager no, the other manager call coporate and spoke with the trailer Department, guess what got trailer and in business name, didn't have to be in my name lmao. Guess St Augustine didn't need my business and the one who claims to the store manager the short fat, old, bitter woman is just a shirt or assiatant managet

This is the friendliest Harbour Freight that I have been to. The young man was so helpful and greeted you as soon as you came in the door. He asked if I and others in the store needed help. I wish I lived closer I would always shop at this store. But I live 2 hrs away. The store where I live you have to find someone to help you and no greeting.

They had the item I wanted at a good price and good quality.
While there, I witnessed a store manager handle a customer complaint beautifully with a compromise that left the other customer happy when he left.

All the tools are here. I prefer coming here over Lowes/Home Depot for tools. Better prices, better returns/warranties, and you can always immediately find a staff member if you need help.

Never spending money at harbor freight again simply because they charged me a $5 restocking fee on my return for a $40 item, simply because I had opened the box. When I was not even told of this when I had originally bought the item. This is the last dime y'all are getting from me
