Came by 3 times today— 9, 10 and 2:00pm and the store was closed. I drove from Ponte Vedra, so it’s not like it was right around the corner 😩 I needed to buy at least 4 hats, and there was no sign saying they were closed, and no one answered any phone calls. So sad because I love their selection of hats.

While on vacation I had the absolute pleasure to meet Dante a sales associate at lids. He had to be the most charismatic charming young man I have met in a really long time. He was very helpful and while we were only browsing I did end up buying a custom hat. Dante was extremely attentive to us while also effortlessly tending to two other customers browsing the store at the same time. As a small business owner I felt compelled to give a great review and thank Dante for his excellent customer service and enthusiasm in life.

Was told by the employee he couldn’t embroider three hats with a Simple logo because he was too busy and by himself at the store in Saint Augustine. Pretty ridiculous it doesn’t take long, I won’t be coming back and won’t recommend this place to anyone.

The only person that can use the custom embroiderer (manager) only works on the weekend. But that doesn’t matter because you have to go online and spend $35 just for the digitization of your image. That’s before the cost of the hat and the cost of the embroidery.

I wish I could live zero stars but I can’t unfortunately I have to give one star. I went inside the store twice today to get a custom hat. The first time there was a few people inside the store. I told the worker if I can make a custom hat today he said that it was the weekend and he was too busy when it was two people inside the store, then later that afternoon, we went back to the store to try and get the custom hat again there was only one customer at the store. We asked him If you can do it now he said this weekend they are busy. When clearly, there was only one customer, I brought it up to him. He was on his phone while I was talking to him. And he said that it’s too busy during the weekend he told me “you can’t take that somewhere else” pretty much kicking me out the store. If there’s something I can’t deal with is with Laziness. And this man does not deserve to work here if he is not doing his job. Employee’s name was Angel Candelario. And this happened on 1/6/2024

This review doesn’t even deserve one star. My husband and I walked in to ask for a customization on a lid. Sales associate advised us it’s the weekend (however there was only one customer and the machine was not running) we told him this and his response was “you can take that somewhere else” we walked out the store. Very upset we couldn’t receive the service we needed. Sales associate clearly didn’t want to work.
