I had signed up with a promotional rate. I got a notification that the promotional rate was over and I would be going to the full rate. I went into the St. Augustine store and Efrain Lopez (Assistant Store Manager) sent an email asking to keep the old rate. A few hours later he called to let me know that his request had been approved. This is what outstanding customer service looks like. Thanks Efrain.

Scam. They offer low rates when you sign up but then double or more your rate in a few months. They claimed I had a “promo” rate, but nowhere on the website or in the documentation did it say “promo rate” or anything similar. Rate literally went from $36 to $90 the first time. They offered me $56/mo to stay. I didn’t and then a few months later jacked it up to $112. I called to complain and was told the best they could do was $93/mo for a 5x10. They assume you won’t move. Even the move out survey has a question about if they raised the rate too much lol.
The facility is nice but the storage space was small (half a foot or more smaller in all directions than the stated size).
Unless you are fine with paying triple the rate you signed up for, just pick someplace else. You will be spending a Saturday moving everything to another spot like I did if you don’t. That is a bait and switch scam and this company is not ethical at all.

The staff has been stellar. When I added an extra unit, it was discovered I hadn’t received a senior discount which was added to both units. I was called when I didn’t lock my unit properly. Nice catch!
