The nicest owner! Purchased a single line kite from her and she threw in a free magnet. Told us near the fort was a good place to fly it and we had a great time!

Owner is super nice. A really genuine and kind person. Hammock selection is awesome. We bought one while camping and it worked out so well, we went back and bought a second one. She knows her stuff about hammocks and kites. Prices are respectable considering the quality you’re getting.

My husband and I always come here to buy our hammocks. Every time we come we are met by very welcoming, and knowledgeable staff. We started buying organic hammocks from this store because they were similar to the type I had purchased in Brazil many years ago which can be difficult to find in American stores. They also have weather resistant hammocks that are more durable, chair hammocks, and more. The location is beautiful and the store is worth stopping in to support a small business with a very kind owner.

Was walking downtown and happened to stop for coffee nearby. Saw the shop and thought I’ve wanted a hammock a long time, so went in.
A great selection, colours, styles and materials. We wanted one that the leaves could fall through and was treated for the Florida outdoors.
And the reviews about the friendliness are all right. Strange how some people are just welcoming and friendly, relaxed and kind.
And here it is strung up and enjoying a relaxing swing on it already.

My husband and I stop in to see my soul sister and Old City Hammocks’ amazing items often! Just stopped in last weekend again to pick up a new metal art piece to add to our patio wall (love our new sun and mermaid). The hammocks we have purchased through her are fantastic quality and one of our daughters absolutely loved hers while off at college!

Jeanette was super helpful for finding the best kite for our family. The hammock chairs were so comfortable we ended up buying one of those too! I totally recommend!

This shop is one of our first stops every time we're in town! The wind chimes, hammocks and accessories are all high-quality - we've purchased several and all have held up well. But the real treasure is Jeanette, the owner - who is kind, caring and generous. It's always a delight to visit with her. ?

Visiting St Augustine for a quick weekend. Love all the shops in town. Old City Hammocks was a great stop to peek into. These cheerful hot air balloons caught my eye in the front. They also have beautiful wall art and colorful hammocks inside. Biggest Thank You to the sweetest owner who took care of me!

My family and I are based in central Florida so we frequent St. Augustine several times a year because it's our favorite place to hang out and shop and just have a really nice time. My husband and I always come here with our two best friends and we always have made it a point to come into this little corner shop to admire the high quality hammocks and dream of having a space to own one someday. Very recently we decided to all move in together and finally made the decision to purchase a hammock for our shared home, we split it four ways and are so incredibly excited to set it up! Jeanette was an absolute treasure, she was so helpful and answered all of our questions. She was immensely friendly and kind, even going the extra mile in giving my 2 year old a snack! We had such a lovely time talking to her I never thought purchasing a hammock could be such a great experience. It made such an impression on everyone we will be sure to make the drive for all of our hammock needs and we'll certainly pop in to say hello every time we visit!
