Publix in Saint Augustine is my go to grocery store! I enjoy their helpful and friendly staff. Attitudes are great, and they're always willing to assist customers with a smile. Top-notch service every time:)

Publix is always so kind and helpful. If they don't have a product you're looking for. They will try to order it. They are usually stocked very well with products.

I have been shopping at Publix for over 40 years but will never enter the store again. Shopped Monday, 2/12/2024, one bell pepper 2.49! Whole grain oatmeal 7.99 (Walmart and Target 5.99). They have become greedy pigs.

Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we can never forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. This is a great Publix and I enjoyed the upbeat vibe as I grabbed a few of my necessities. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars.

Publix is my go to grocery store and this one is located on Anastasia Island in St Augustine- with a wonderful beach mural just inside the door! We were there to load up on snacks for our boating day and I found everything and some big tupperware containers too! A little charcuterie snakcage for the waterways! Checkout is always fast and delightful. I appreciate a good Publix!

Publix is our go to market in Florida. The cooking lady that lost that position because the program was eliminated was so wonderful, and it is one of the reasons I am not giving Publix 5 stars. I would appreciate a class or two, on how to use the Publix App on my smartphone. There was a coupon on it for free flowers. No one was at the flower booth. The gentleman at the Customer Service counter told me what flower bouquet to look for it. Could not find it. Meanwhile my husband paid, while I walked back to the register. He did not want to delay other customers on the line. There was another delay to get my $3.00 coupon and $2.00 off Activia at Customer Service. I 'd appreciate a Zoom meeting or class on how to use the Publix app. It would be nice if the Publix food demonstrator would hold a cooking class once in awhile. We loved her and the samples, and it was a wonderful program. Thank you for running a good store, but please take my suggestions to heart. Thank you.

Stay away from the deli section. They've got the rudest employees in all of Saint Augustine. They make ordering cold cuts a nightmare and overcomplicate the ordering process. I went in to order ham, turkey and salami and they turned it into a big production - a long series of back-and- forth questions when all I wanted was regular, non-flavored. old cuts - I don't care about maple ham, smoked turkey, etc. I just wanted regular cold cuts and that fact couldn't register in the employees' heads. So frustrating.

I visited the deli on Sunday and their employee Travis was very helpful when making my subs. I was going to order 2 half subs but he made me aware that it would be almost double the cost instead of getting one whole and just have different toppings on each half. I appreciate this kind generosity from a great employee. I will definitely be coming to this Publix again.

I love publix and love their subs, normally. I just had a Philly sub from the one in st augustine on Sr 16. I knew I wasn't going to like it when the kid put the chopped roast beef with the onions and mushrooms in the oven at once. The veggies were always cooked separately in the past. I hate raw onions. It wasn't in long. He also forgot to ask about salt and pepper so it had no taste and I had to pick put the onions. ( I order w no peppers, they would have been raw too). $10 for a sub, I should have gone to subway. And I only got the Philly because they were out of meatballs. And their rolls are all different sizes. This was not a win.

The shelves are absolutely EMPTY this is UNACCEPTABLE! I was shopping on Saturday, and went over to the dairy department to look for daisy's sour cream, which is buy one get one. There was NOTHING on the shelves when I looked at the section. So, I went up to this older lady, think her name was Christie, and asked if they have any more in the back. She immediately told me there was not any more, I found it odd considering it was on sale that week and I saw it at the store before last week. Five minutes later I saw another worker, Conor, and asked him the same question. After several minutes of waiting he gave me the sour cream I requested. I found it odd that he was able to find the sour cream but Christie wasn't able to find the sour cream five minutes prior. Maybe they got some in inbetween that time?!? Could really use some work at that Publix, was disappointing.

30 minute wait at cash registers and deli and anything in the store, and the customer service girl, Awnisha, explained that if you are local you should know this is condo check-in day, while refusing to check out my cart and 15 items because she's too busy having to deal with Western Union? Makes no sense, in the Saturday night, but then she has if this is normal, and I reply with why would you not have more people working then if you know this is going to happen, and silence. Left the card of items and pick out the five things I really needed, and the manager then had to ask her to come back up to customerservice where is it was supposedly so busy even though she wasn't there when I came back. She came across as a bit unmotivated and lazy

The team is great except, it seems, the stock manager? I constantly have to go to the Publix at the shoppes inland because this Publix never has stock. Items are even gone or they just stopped carrying, yet across the bridge they are always stocked up with everything. Frozen lentils, cheeses, organic fruit. Anything that can be done? I went to customer service they told me they will request them every time I asked they shrugged looked at their gadget said stock pending or something like that! Thanks
