Today’s experience had me thinking that the cashier was mad he worked today or mad that I had 11 items in the 10 item or less checkout. He totally ignored the 10 foot 10 second rule. I had to say hi to Bill myself. He then put my cold items with canned goods and when I got home my bar cake was sideways in the bag which was a mess. I gave him a $100 bill and my total was around $80 dollars. He kept looking at the bill like I had just made it or something. I had to put my own stuff in the shopping cart. Then he missed the change that I had gave him somehow so he looked confused on how much he owed me. He did not even count my change back to me. I had to count it myself to see if it was correct. He did say bye however. As a previous Publix manager I could tell Bill was not trained properly or is lacking in customer service.

Excellent ~ I actually asked the deli for unsweetened tea as they didn’t have any in the cooler & they sent someone to get some ~ I never ask & was surprised they jumped all over it

We don't have a Publix near us so when we visit we definitely go there the clientele is different and the workers are usually always always pleasant. Can't forget they have the best subsandwhiches around too!!

This is my favorite Publix in all of Saint Augustine, Florida! The staff is awesome and most have been working here for a long time (that speaks volumes about management) I have never had to wander for help and the place is always organized and clean.
As an added bonus, I work for a therapeutic elementary school and the bakery allows us to grab the “expires today” treats for our school every single week! They are always smiling and seem so happy to be doing such a nice thing for us when I pick up the box from them!

Outstanding customer service! Stopped in for the Wednesday $5 sushi special while passing through and the woman behind the counter preparing the sushi went above and beyond. She was working on rolling some more and noticed me looking for a specific one. Told me she'd have it ready within just a few minutes. When I walked back, she had it packaged and put aside for me. She truly made this shopping experience a pleasure.
