I took my 1964 Pontiac to Rick's Mufflerman Shop because it had developed an exhaust problem which had not been corrected to my satisfaction, even after two previous mechanics' attempts to do so. I described the problem to Dave when I arrived for my appointment. Within minutes, he met me in the waiting area with the problematic parts in hand. He gave me a clear description of how he would fix it. Within two hours, I was on the road, delighted with the result, and totally impressed by the integrity, knowledge, and customer care which I received. The bill was lower than the estimate, because Dave was able to re-use a part instead of replacing it. This was a totally positive experience. I would recommend this shop to anyone in need of exhaust work.

Had my vehicle inspected today at Rick’s Mufflerman Shop. The inspection was completed quickly and efficiently. Dave was very helpful, an honest and transparent man who took the time to explain everything clearly. Highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for trustworthy service.

I have a 19 year old Chrysler Town and Country van. My header pipe broke and needed immediate attention. I called my shop, Jim at Car Tech in St Augustine. He apologized and said his shop was the wrong place. He has been sending his customers for exhaust repairs to Rick’s (forever). I called and made an appointment expecting the worst (complete new exhaust system and parts needed to be ordered). To my delight, it could be fixed in about 1 hour, my flex pipe was broken! Perfect! Thank you!

The best experience I’ve ever had at an auto repair shop. The guys were very professional and kind. I took my car in to make sure it was in good condition for a long road trip I’m making and since the car was good to go minus low tire pressure there wasn’t even any charges

I'm rarely happy with service I pay for but not this time. This is a second generation family business that does exceptional work at a very fair price. Everyone here is friendly and skilled especially Rick and his mother who is the office manager. They put dual exhaust on my classic Pontiac which wasn't easy considering it had factory single exhaust. Was charged exactly as quoted even though there was some extra work involved. I will recommend this place to anybody.
