Of all the hotels I’ve stayed in the front desk service at this one was the most thorough with the most clearly laid out details you’d want to know. The king bed was cozy and pillows extremely comfortable. Room was a great size and everything worked great. The oak trees outside are beautiful. A fair price of $95 for a great stay!

We found Southern Oaks after an unplanned stop in St Augustine. What a gem! Staff was so friendly and helpful, like we were old friends. Something I value when traveling. The shuttle and breakfast were welcomed surprises. The rooms are very clean and while small, are nicely accommodating. We will be back next year for more than one night.

The lady at the reception the day we arrived was very bad character. Rude, we arrived from Miami at 2 and didn't let us into the room until 4pm... the room shown on the page is not the same, too small. A single mirror for the entire room. Very small bathroom. Breakfast is included but monitored. They serve you and cold the food. Otherwise cleaning in the room. But you can throw away the towels and buy new ones.

Good location, they have a free shuttle into old St. Augustine. Ample parking for RV's, good free breakfast. Room are tired, bedding is cheap, shower is bad. They don't allow early check in unless you extra!

They have more hospitality than anywhere I've ever stayed. They did all they could to make us feel welcome and comfortable.Nearby activities: Free shuttle to downtown from 10 - 10.Food & drinks: Free breakfast that was totally satisfying and had more than I could eat.Noteworthy details: The staff was so accommodating.

Staff and breakfast were great. Very busy corner. The city decided to do loud roadwork on a Sunday night at 10pm. Room was cozy and clean.

I cannot begin to COMPLIMENT this place enough. This hotel is an absolute must for anyone with dogs or just visiting the area. They have their own wonderful little dog park on hotel property. Each room is prepared for our four legged friends with a water dish and a very nice big comfy bed for those pooches. Their dining only allows service dogs which is totally understandable. Multiple restaurants located near the hotel as well for easy dining that is walking distance away. The receptionist provides a list of dog friendly hotels that guests can go to. The hotel also has a shuttle that runs, I'm not sure of the schedule, to various locations around the are. They also have a map that provides all the stops the shuttle goes to.Rooms: The rooms a cozy with two queen beds, a small TV, a dog bed, a full bathroom, a microwave, a small fridge, and a small coffee maker.

Service was not the best due to communication mishap, but the manager called me and worked it out. I'm definitely coming back to stay here! Great for pups traveling with you. Cute dog accommodations.

It's a 40-minute walk to the heart of st.augustine, I know because we walked one night from Meehan's Irish Pub, but they have a complementary shuttle till 10pm, breakfast was ok I loved the homemade fries, the only bad thing is they only have 1 person serving food for a line of hungry people, and even though it's only about 4 items, i saw some people taking quite long deciding what to get ? our coffee maker didn't work, but tge nice young man changed it in less than 30min, the staff was friendly and willing to answer and suggest when we asked for help. I'd stay here again.Food & drinks: Eggs, homemade potatoes, bacon, sausage, gritts, and all the norms, coffee, orange juice, bagles, toast etc.

I recently went to hotel for 3 days with my family and this hotel is a really really good. The front desk Ms. Gabo was friendly and explain everything that I needed. The breakfast was excellent and the people serving was very nice. The room is spacious and clean. The area is quiet and pleasant. The shuttle on time and the driver is very friendly. The parking free and spacious do you don’t need to drive because the shuttle go to downtown and Villano beach. In front of the hotel have a CVS and Walgreens if you need to buy something the last time. The area in hotel is clean and the pool too. This hotel is wonderful. I highly recommend it 100 star
