Disappointed is an understatement! My husband and son surprised me for my birthday with a Trek Verve 2 Step Thru. When we arrived, I got on the bike and went down the street. Being that this is my first time purchasing a bike from a bike shop vs. Target, I figured I would receive the correct size, etc. After riding the bike and few times, I noticed something was off, I called for a return (because Trek offers a 30-day return). Well, Sprockets doesn’t offer refunds (according to the lady that answered the phone, although I didn’t see that verbiage on the receipt). I took it to my local Trek in Jax (btw they didn’t have this particular bike) and he immediately stated, “Clearly they wanted a sell, because you are not a large, you are a medium.” After hearing that, I decided to write this review. Buyer beware…if you’re purchasing a Trek, go directly to a Trek shop or purchase online to ensure you receive the 30 day guarantee. It’s sad to purchase a bike that you have to keep and “attempt” to make it fit.

First time to Sprockets, I carried in my 26” wheels, separate from the bike, in case they were busy the Saturday before Father’s Day, nope. I bought 2 new tubes and 2 new tires for $75 and wanted them installed. I had to leave them for the big job! No other customers were present, inside or out. I came back about a hour later. Labor was an astounding $40! I looked over the bill when I got home and called to verify the labor charges were correct. Indeed they were! Ouch!
I think you need a hundred dollars for a service or repair here, and don’t plan on waiting.

This is the best bike shop. They know what they’re doing. The bike always comes back better. Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and always communicate what needs to be done . Totally recommend the shop.
Appreciate the attention to detail.

MTB with low tire pressure.
Really wish I didn't have to write this, I'm all about local bike shops. I travel a lot with my bike so, this bike is constantly getting repaired. Nothing new.
At least they had tire sealant and valve tool. Basically told…go do it yourself.
Could have sold me road tire, rim, and cassette for all I cared.
I don’t care if your service free was $60 for a flat. You could have made me feel welcomed and like you wanted business charged me
Then said hey you got all these problems.
Also told go take it to a dealer. This bike is 4 years old you think I have a warranty?
I don’t leave these a lot.
Edited: Even though I left disappointed you still had what I needed to fix my own tire.

I was traveling and enjoying the historic town of St. Augustine and staying at the RV resort there. I road my electric mountain bike to Sprockets to have the derailer adjusted. I spoke to the owner who was very honest and informative about the service and time it would take to repair my bike. I left it with him and walked a mile down the street and had lunch. By the time I finished , I received a text that my bike was repaired. I walked back and was very surprised at the very reasonable price for parts and labor. If you need your bike repaired, this is the place to take it. Thank you Sprockets for excellent service.

Stopped by once, then checked out one more shop and the customer service I received at sprockets was just amazing! I was helped by Brandon and he went above and beyond to make sure my kid got a sweet bike he could enjoy and be safe on. I would never go elsewhere this is the only choice. The mechanic even took time from her day to take a pic with my son. Thank you guys so much for everything!

Insanely overpriced! went here when I first got into bikes and they heavily took advantage, they put a new tire on my bike and put the chain I had brought myself and it costed over $100 I have been into bikes for a couple years by now and not only can fix those issues myself but have been to other shops that can do the same work for like a fourth of the price.

Love the Sprockets crew! They’ve been helping me fix and mod my bikes for over a year now! If I see something I like they hunt down the part and get it in for me! If I crash out and wreck my bike they perform resurrections! 10/10 will bike there again!

Don't give a quote then go up on the price because it was "harder" then expected. After the job was done. Lol bad business.

Didn’t realize they close at 5pm and got there around 5:20pm, as I was getting rdy to leave someone came out and helped me, I only needed my cassette lock ring tightened onto the hub of a new wheel (fast easy job). The bike tech did it on the spot for me and I was able to ride on my new wheels that afternoon. Huge thanks!
