I really like the drs and nurses at this clinic. My biggest problem is trying to get an appointment set up via the phone. I either get bounced around or get disconnected. I’ve found it’s easier to go in to reschedule a missed appointment. The VA system needs to have a “portal” or internet system to make appointments and contact staff members.

My PCM sent a referral to the wrong location. I call in speak with my care team and the lady who picked up was apparently agitated to speak with me. The first call gets disconnected, I call in again, and the same lady cuts me off and says to send a message thru other portals. If you don't like customer service, DON'T get a job interacting with people.

Check in staff at window 3 very rude. Private loud conversation between her and #4 apparently was more important than checking veterans in. Another check in staff member dressed like Halloween and wearing a headset with mic was also pretty rude to the veterans. Where does the VA do its hiring? Women's prison?

By far the worst va and va system I have ever encountered. I been to many va health centers and this one is even more worse than California's. I will be getting ahold of congress and hopefully getting some of these non caring sum beaches fired

Cant get a hold of my primary care provider for xrays,I'm hurting and it's been week and a half,they got results from xrays but did not follow up,I keep getting the villages,I need help

Love the small town VA. Excellent Dr's and front desk personnel. However wait time is getting bad because of the population growth in the County.

Visiting from out of town, and went in for a flu shot. Reception was super friendly and helpful. Had to see enrollment, then was scheduled for a flu shot at the same time.Facility is clean, and in good condition. Might be a new building? Everyone kind & helpful. Way better than othe VA facilities I've been to. Wish they were all like this!Update 2 years later:Secure messages to nurses and Doctors go unanswered and ignored. Good luck getting the care you need when you need it. Better off going through community care for everything.

Compared to the modulars we used to be in, this new building is like a new Cadillac. I love the care I get at the VA in St Augustine, and I am always treated with care and respect. I get much better care here than when I lived in Colorado.

I have been going here for 5 years now. Have multiple medical problems which none have been addressed. I'm thinking they're documenting the progression of my death. . Everything is getting worse as it goes. No faith whatsoever in the medical department

Other than wait times occasionally being lengthy in-between appointments I can't speak I'll of this VA. The staff is professional, it's clean and I get my care as needed. If they're unable to help, this VA is quick to send you somewhere that can. Definitely not as good as what I experienced in the rocky mountains or west coast but I'm calling it a win for the overloaded southern VA system.

My husband has been with this VA since 2011. He has always been treated with respect. Whenever he needs anything, his team is always very helpful. He is now on Home Based care and gets excellent care. His social worker stays on top of a situation until it's resolved. His OT is also very helpful. His dietician, doctor, and nurse also respond immediately when I contact them. I am so grateful and pleased with the care he receives.

I needed to have a one page document that took five minutes to fill out by my primary care. Waited an 1 hour and 45 minutes to get told 14 days atleast ? This place is a joke. I’ve lived in three different states and have been in the VA system since I got out of the military in 2007, hands down worst place ever! 14 days? ? contacting the local VSO now, which has been a common practice around these parts ? if you don’t say anything you’ll be stuck with this clinic.

For the love of God, don't get Agarwal as your doctor. The disconnect between her nurse Pamela and getting what you need to is ridiculous. It's like pulling teeth.
