Surf Culture Inc. is a great surf shop and local gem in St. Augustine, owned by two brothers. It has been here for years, even decades. The owners combine their years of traveling, surfing, and a passion for providing people new and needed items. They both work in the store, making visits really neat and pleasant. The owners are awesome, sweet, helpful, and kind, and those they employ are equally as helpful and kind. Some of the kindest people you’ll meet, they offer great conversation and a warm welcoming. The shop is a hidden gem on St. George Street, a tourist hotspot. It stocks decks, bearings, grip tape, sun bum products, t-shirts, socks, hats, awesome merch, and new stuff. While prices can be higher, that’s to be expected. Customers report one of the most pleasant experiences, with a killer soundtrack playing. It is an example of a local place to support, and many recommend visiting or stopping in. People keep coming back for more and direct anyone they know to check it out.

Chris was really helpful in helping me find a longboard to use on my vacation. With the store being in a tourist hotspot it comes with higher prices but that’s to be expected. If you want to support local, support this shop!
