Rude management and zero hospitality. My friend was treated horribly. Never recommend.

Absolutely awful management, will never recommend anyone to stay here. Management treats you like your less than human and they don't care enough to retain returning patrons. Don't stay here!!!

5th stay but the last. Great location. Quite. No kids. BUT. Make sure you use ALL the amenities….your charged for them at $80 a night over and above the room high charges each night. Make sure you book a room on aecond floor because if your on the bottom Floor you can hear the upstairs people breathing. They will do nothing about it either when complaining. Has to be under new management because it has definitely gone down hill. You can stay anywhere else for 1/4 of the cost with same or better service. Shop before you stay.

I am staying here right now. Walking in, the guy at the desk didn't even smile at my wife and I. I had to let her deal with him. So snarky. Then went to the bar later andthe girl there didnt find us registered and woudn't help. Then when I Called the front desk the girl hung up on me when I complained. I'm a disabled veteran Officer that served in the Gulf War and do not understand the rudeness of the staff. Valet was very good guy. I feel that the lgbt thing is off the charts here I cannot believe that the front desk hung up on a veteran. One more slight and I call my congressman.
Rooms: Great rooms lousy entitled staff.

Very nice rooms and ambiance. Gentleman at front desk was not welcoming or friendly. All other staff were. Nice included breakfast. While valet parking is included the lot is a few blocks away and the service is not 24 7 so not ideal. No on site restaurant and bar has limited hours. Not 100% I'd come back but still a nice place you might like to try.

Charming ambiance and good location BUT stayed in Rose House. Bugs in rooms, not clean, Listerine and lotion had been used, TV didn't stream. Upa a dangerous narrow flight of stairs. Bartender unfriendly. Extremely overpriced!!! Restaurant recommendations were tourist traps. Added a $35 amenities fees but no amenities! Valet service inconvenient. Car far away. Not safe to leave anything in car. Room came to almost $600 a night. Stay on water at Marin House instead. 1/2 the price. Only good thing was breakfast.

This was our first visit to St. Augustine and the location of the Collector Inn was ideal. It was centrally located in the heart of the city yet it was tranquil, peaceful and serene. My room was bright, clean, nicely appointed. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate my requests for extra towels and a late check out.The bartender was friendly and insightful. She was very knowledgeable about local restaurants. We met quite a few nice people from out of town around the fire pit.I highly recommend this Oasis in the middle of Historic St. Augustine. I would definitely go back on my next visit.Walkability: The hotel is located within walking distance of major attractions.Noteworthy details: Every staff member from the bellman to the breakfast server, front desk, concierge were warm and friendly.

Wonderful oasis steps from St. Augustine’s historical district. One of my favorite places. It is a group of historic homes converted to warm and inviting lodging. Each room is beautifully appointed and full of historic charm and warmth (fireplaces, high ceilings, sitting areas, verandas, etc.) along with all modern amenities to make your stay comfortable. The grounds, however, share equal billing. Numerous sitting areas ranging from quiet garden areas with relaxing fountains to fire pits for socializing. An on site bar provides excellent drinks and is the social hot spot early evening. A small, but comfortable pool area is a great place to cool off early afternoon. You can do as much or as little as you choose. Finally, the staff is wonderful - helpful, courteous, professional and personable. They also know the city well. Every recommendation they made was spot on. This place has become my annual Spring retreat.

Please don't fall for the "luxury" this place claims to have!
This is a "collection" of small homes chopped into "rooms" that have been upgraded.
The "valet" parking is ridiculous and horribly managed. But, of course you have no choice but to use it!
They couldn't find our car, couldn't find our keys and we were left waiting for over 30 minutes in the heat of summer!
We originally booked a 2 night stay, but after we finally got our car we checked out after just one night.
The "management" has to "approve" our request for reimbursement!!
I called the manager and left a message on his phone but still haven't heard back from him.
When I went to our room to collect our belongings a ROACH crawled across the bed pillow!
What a nightmare!!
And the COST...$350.00 per night. INSANE!
We will NOT be back!
**Update: The manager did not return my call, however we were only charged for a one night stay, so they obviously approved our refund.
Rooms: The room had great upgrades, beautiful shower but the roaches are a big no no!
Walkability: Everything in downtown is within walking distance, but not ideal for seniors. There's truly no parking to be found. And, our stay was in the "off season"
We won't be back!

Fully restored and modern facilities. A whole city block with several houses and buildings that have become the hotel. Grounds have a garden appearance with walking paths, flowers, and fire pits. Great breakfast each morning with attentive service. A unique resort experience.Walkability: Walking distance to all old St Augustine sites.Noteworthy details: Individual houses, cottages and rooms all contained within a restored city block. Between the houses are fire pits , a swimming pool, and gardens. Incredible service from the staff, without exception.

Won a voucher for a 1 night stay. I made the reservation a month in advanced. I asked if the voucher covers everything and was told yes, just need to pay the fee of 35 and tax. I got an email confirmation all is good. Mind you, I only live 30 mins away and there was no real need for me to stay here. Got there 30 mins early to check in and noticed the price difference! Hundreds of dollar difference... I asked what this was about and they said it's the price change and that's the difference I need to cover! The manager left for the day and would be back in the am. And that they would get it handled. Well morning came and that is what I had to pay. I wouldn't have been able to change the room or reschedule. So basically it is what it is and I needed to pay for it. If you win a voucher for here don't do it! It only benefits them. For people who is staying here, it's a nice place and location. Valet takes your vehicle off site so heads up. There will be a lot of walking if you're not use to it since it's on the other side of downtown.

I can not say enough about The Collectors. My initial call to book the property was with the amazing Tatianna. She was incredibly helpful helping me pick the best room. I was even able to tell her the part of the Inn that I liked the most and she helped me find the best room in that special location. My husband and I have very fond memories of St Augustine and Tatianna brought the magical feeling from the very start! Thank you Tatianna for all of your help! You are so kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the Inn and At Augustine! We booked the Collector because of our conversation with Tatianna :)Thank you!

We jumped out of our comfort zone and decided to mix up our regular property in St. Augustine to try The Collector. We did have a good stay and our room was nice and clean. The room was decorated, tasteful, and had the standard amenities. Our toilet did run non-stop. I ended up doing some repair work and fixed it myself. While I think the property is priced fairly, nothing here wowed us. The breakfast, the toiletries were just a bit basic. The grounds and buildings would definitely benefit from a good pressure washing.Walkability: Most of the popular things to see and do in St. Augustine are all within a few minutes walking distance.
