I found Turtle Tots Academy online after my daughter was having behavior problems at another school and Turtle Tots gave her a chance. I was upfront about her behaviors and they were open to accepting her and worked with me through one of the most challenging moments of my life. They offered ideas and interventions and she was able to graduate VPK. I could not have found more caring people than the ones at Turtle Tots Academy. There were many times that my child was sent home and it’s understandable, but they worked with me and it meant so much for me to see her make it through VPK. They currently have my one year-old and it is such a piece of mine while I’m at work knowing that he is there, and that the people who are caring for him are honest realistic, and truly compassionate people. I wish I would’ve known about this school from the beginning. I wonder if my daughter‘s experience would’ve been different. Thank you Turtle Tots Academy for being my saving grace!

My daughter started attending TT from a year old when I went back to work full time. It gave me peace of mind to know that kind and thoughtful staff and owners were taking care of my baby girl while I was working. Water days are the best.

I was the 1(toddlers) teacher for the past few months it was an amazing experience. I have absolutely loved working at turtle tots the employees/ bosses are like a family and always there to help! I have always wanted to be a teacher and this job has really given me the chance to explore this option!

Turtle Tots has wonderful and caring staff! Our son had a hard time adjusting to daycare when we started him around 2 yo, but Ashley took amazing care of him and reassured me constantly that they have it under control, knowing how worried we were about him being comfortable. She gave him the love and attention he needed to enjoy being there every day. He has since moved up to a new classroom and his current teachers, Ms Bry and Ms Julie, are also wonderful, providing me with adorable pictures and updates of our son each day. Anytime we have a question about the program, Angela is always happy to assist and also very loving to all the kids.
We are forever thankful for this group and highly recommend!

My son has been attending Turtle Tots for the last 7 months and we could not be happier. We were previously attending another day care in the area for 6 months and were not happy with our experience, but since enrolling into Turtle Tots he has shown so much growth and learning! The facility is clean and teachers provide frequent updates and photos throughout the week. A secure check in and check out is also wonderful. All of the staff and teachers are caring, kind, professional, and helpful. It really feels like a family and we are so thankful to be a part of it!

We love Turtle Tots! We have two kids and daycare/pre-school with them! They do a great job of communicating with us and my toddler is so excited when he gets to go! He's been in there since an infant and has learned so much! He asks us about going to school on the weekends! haha his baby sister also enjoys going and is full of smiles when she goes into her classroom! If you are in St. Augustine looking for daycares or pre school, I would highly recommend looking at Turtle Tots!

My granddaughter has been attending Turtle Totts for almost one year now. She’s doing amazing and thriving. She’s already potty trained, knows her abc’s, numbers and colors. Can’t say enough about the staff. They’re all wonderful, caring and very professional. Miss Ray not only teaches her age appropriate learning, she also does fun activities like baking cookies, science projects (caterpillar into a butterfly), arts and crafts!!! I receive daily updates on how she’s doing and what they learned that day. But most of all, my granddaughter feels safe and loves being at Turtle Totts Academy❤️‼️

Can’t say enough about the director Angela and her team of teachers here at Turtle Tots. The staff has helped tremendously in my kid’s learning, development, and guidance as they prepare for the next steps in their educational journey.

Turtle Tots Academy has been an Amazing fit for my daughter. The Vpk program is incredible and she has learned so much from her wonderful teacher. The staff are all so very thoughtful and caring for all of the children. My daughter struggles with self regulation and attentive issues and all of the teachers are so kind and helpful to her. The owner Heather Laager has been so helpful and understanding helping me enroll my daughter and navigate episcopal services to help pay for her tuition. The director Angela is honestly the nicest person I have ever met, she has helped me so much in finding resources and services that will help support my daughter and me and navigate her difficult behaviors. Turtle Tots Academy has been a God send for me and my family and I couldn't possibly be more grateful to Heather, Angela and the Turtle Tots staff for all the love and understanding they have shown me and my daughter. ❤️

Our grandson has attended Turtle Tots Academy for the past 2 years. He is now in the 3 year old room thriving. We are so happy our daughter made the decision to send him to this preschool. His teacher is wonderful, the entire staff is so kind and understanding.

My daughter, who is 18 months old, recently switched to Turtle Tots after nearly a year at another daycare, she has learned more in the 6 weeks here then she did in an entire year at the previous center. The teachers are kind and have a lesson plan posted each week. My daughter has learned several new words as well. I wish we had enrolled her in Turtle Tots from day 1, I cant recommend them enough.
