I decided it was time to purchase a newer 4 door car. I did a lot of research and narrowed it down to a few specific types sedans that I was interested in.
I went to a different local car dealer,
and was turned off by high pressure sales. They gave me a low ball offer on my trade which felt insulting considering that my car was low in mileage and well maintained.
I then went back online to search and found a car I liked on the CARFAX app, located at The Volkswagen Dealership in Saint Augustine. Then I decided to search their inventory on their website. I felt that the used cars in their inventory were reasonably priced.
I put in an inquiry online about a few cars.
Joe from sales contacted me right away.
I gave him the information about my trade in. He expressed that the dealership was very interested in my vehicle.
I had a set budget in mind. Oliver, the sales manager, and Joe in Finance helped me figure out how to get as close as possible to the numbers.
It was a seamless, efficient, and transparent transaction. It only took a few hours start to finish. Joe also sent a message to follow up on my new purchase.
I absolutely love my 2018 Honda Accord that I purchased from their used car lot. I am extremely happy with my experience and I highly recommend this dealership.

I had been working with the dealership for a week, trying to weigh my options on a purchase. I was somewhat ready to do the deal and add more of a down-payment. But I was totally turned off by a text stating I should basically wrap it up or leave them alone. I would rather take my money elsewhere because as a consumer, I feel I am allowed to take as much time as I need, ITS MY MONEY. I appreciate the time, but the rush was not appreciated!!! They get 2 stars for effort.

Joe Horn, our salesperson, was very friendly, helpful and welcoming from the very beginning. He made the whole process feel effortless! Wasn’t really looking forward to shopping for a new car, but I’m so glad to have gone to VW of St. Augustine - now I own a car I’m excited to drive every day

Very pleased with my buying experience here. Unlike my local VW dealer, it was very easy to call up and get out-the-door pricing and there were no mandatory add-ons. My salesperson Eric was excellent and patient in answering all questions. Even after the purchase he checked in to make sure we were happy with the car and that everything was good.

They really work to give me a great deal on my 24 Taos and on my trade-in. Gabe my sales person went above and beyond to make the deal happen! Truely recommend

What a waste of time and lack of consideration by this dealership - We drove an hour to test drive a pre-owned vehicle in their inventory only to arrive to the car smelling like cigarette smoke and having cigarette ashes in the door handles. This was a 1 year old, clean carfax BMW...and no mention of the smell or condition by the sales person. The sales person we communicated with prior to arriving was not onsite when we arrived so we worked with someone else, who brushed our concerns off. They have had the vehicle for months the odor was strong like someone had just smoked in it. After leaving, there was no follow up by the original sales person although we asked about 2 separate cars in their inventory and were ready to purchase that day..Overall not a trustworthy experience and will make sure not to work with this dealership again.

Eric was our salesman and was awesome to deal with. Low pressure and easy to deal with. I have bought boatloads of cars and trucks and I was in and out of the dealership quickly.

All these other five star reviews are well earned. VW of St. Augustine has a great range of inventory and our salesman, Darrick, was an expert about all the features and trim differences. We had a pretty well defined budget—Oliver, the sales manager, and Joe in Finance helped us figure out how to get as close as possible to that number. It was a seamless, efficient, and transparent transaction. This is a dealership I would highly recommend to my family and friends. Big thanks to the whole team at VW of St. Augustine!

I purchased a VW Taos after always being a Hyundia girl for many years, however decided I wanted a SUV and only one I have really liked from what I have seen on the roads are the Taos and Tiguan, After watching the website of vehicles that come in as I was looking for used, I saw a few I liked and made a purchase. The website is kept well up to date on new arrivals ! David Shapiro was very excellent and easy to deal with and not pushy at all which is a plus for me. Wade the sales manager is very great with interacting with all customers and making sure everyone is happy and taken care of, last David in Finance who is extremely well spoken and also wonderful to deal with. I can say out of all my years purchasing cars this was the best experience honestly and will let everyone know! Thank you fellas!

Our experience with VW St. Augustine was exceptional! Darrick Moreno made our buying experience a real pleasure. Let's face it, most new car buying experiences are always stressful and time consuming, but not here.
Darrick was professional, friendly and informative. I also want to give a shout out to David in Finance. I highly recommend VW St Augustine!!!
