All the business I do through VyStar has been nothing short a pain with them. I’ve never had so many problems with a bank as VyStar in my life. When you need them to help you that can’t even extend a helping hand for one time. I’m closing my accounts and going to Community Firet Credit Union.. VyStar is a joke.

Alexander was very courteous and knowledgeable and efficient in opening a new joint account for me . He was informative and diligent in making sure all our information was up to date. He also helped do other transactions like depositing the coin machine ticket for my daughter.

The app is always down for maintenance or can not show current balances. The ATM closest to me is also always down for maintenance. Every Thursday during my lunch break a van is parked at the ATM & the machine is down & I don't have time to drive to the next ATM. If I use any other ATM VyStar charges me for not using their ATM. But they're sure to charge you an NSF fee immediately if there's a problem even if the reason you under estimated your balance is because you have no idea what your balance is since the app & ATMs never work properly. With VyStar you have to go back to the old ways of keeping a ledger rather than being up to date like most banks & getting real time balances through their apps. Definitely switching banks asap

Relationship Specialist Erin Crean in the St Augustine, Fl branch is a true professional and it was an honor working with her today. I came in to open a business checking account and she went above and beyond to help me with this process. I was originally working with another employee who ( in my opinion) could have addressed my concerns in a more professional manner. As a long time member, I am becoming increasingly dissatisfied with Vystar. The conversion to the new platform is absolutely no better than what they had in place prior to this debacle. In addition, they have gone from being a credit union for the people to acting just like any other bank too big to fail. I did not sign up for a variable rate credit card when I joined them in 1989 and that has now been forced on me along with an interest rate that is jumping up almost double from their last increase. When I called today I learned they have gone from a live person to an automated recording. They offer me terrible interest rates on savings and CDs. I am left wondering just how this Credit Union is supporting me and its other members any better than a regular bank with shareholders these days.... The mobile banking issues happened during a planned conversion to a new platform. VyStar said all funds are secure. The bank is using local banking tech firm Nymbus to launch the new platform electing it as its digital banking partner a few months after investing $20 million in the company. Don't recall this being divulged prior to the implementation of new platform.

Desiree gave my mom and I astounding service. Not only did she deposit our payroll checks faster than previous times, we also got substantial counseling on our credit card situation and how to raise our score sooner than later. As a bonus I was printed out a direct deposit check smoothly so that I may receive my check biweekly without even having to make the 15 minute commute on Friday. Now I can relax and breathe easy knowing my moneys in a safe place and I’m on my way towards being a more responsible creditor. Desiree did it :)
