Today I called the Walgreens Pharmacy at North Ponce de Leon. Stephanie the technician when I asked her to call my doctors office for my prescriptions refused to do so. Not what I would call good customer service or actually any customer service. And their muzak is still terrible and their mute button does not work. Where is that remote control????

I have been going here for years. The pharmacy staff are hard working. Many years ago when I ran a hospice program, I contracted with them. Their service at the corporate level as well as store level across states were appreciated. The service at 2801 N. Ponce De Leon BLVD is excellent. The pharmacy staff take their time -- despite the high volume of care -- to speak with me. They go above and beyond. It isn't just filling prescriptions. They test and administer vaccines among many other tasks.

“Jessie P” at the pharmacy refused to fill a prescription I had called In AGAIN due to the dr “not annotating that this prescription is for now” even though it was sent over specifically for NOW because they would not fill my usual one. Not only did she refuse to fill it (while holding a valid prescription that she admitted her self she can tell had been sent over recently), but she laughed at me when I asked her why my doctor would not understand something that apparently the genius Jessie P does. Jessie, you do not belong around patients, and you are by no means a medical health professional. Fill the pill bottles that the actual doctors tell you to fill, and give people their medications. And certainly, certainly do not laugh when you’re ineptitude is resulting in failure. Absolutely pathetic

Stacey couldn't have been more helpful to me during my visit to St Augustine as I was looking for a particular Boots product and she came up with a solution. Thank you very much and will come to see you next time in the area.

Had a great experience there yesterday. Pharmacist manager delayed her lunch break to get me and my small daughter our prescriptions while they were really busy, and also alerted me to a coupon that ended up saving me $50 on my daughters prescription. This is my go to pharmacy. The service reminds me of the small town pharmacy we would go to when I was a kid.

I am only giving 1 star because I am required to. Pharmacists here are rude, repeat themselves and wont even make eye contact while helping you. Just a bunch of elitist acting boomers

Do not try to call this pharmacy because you will wait forever. I was on hold for 15 minutes before someone finally picked up and immediately told me to hold. I waited another 5 minutes then hung up. That’s poor service plain and simple.

This was my first time visiting this location and I only did because I wanted to fill a prescription. It was around New Years so not only was it really busy, the pharmacists were also busy engaging in the holiday spirit while customers were waiting on line. I am all for joy and I really do enjoy seeing people happy but not when people are held up by it for extended periods of time. We were regular visitors to St. Augustine at New Years but I always managed to take care of my scripts before we visited. This time, I was unable to.I had a paper script because it was a controlled substance. I did not think it would be an issue because they can easily verify with the DEA and all. I also do not have any flags under my name because I am not prescribed controlled substances on the regular. Anyway, when I was finally called up to the counter, I presented my paper prescription. After the pharmacist went into the system, she had questions regarding my provider and such. I informed her I do not reside in the area so she said she would have to call to confirm my provider wrote the script and so on. It was the weekend so of course my provider's office was closed. I informed the pharmacist of this, to which she told me the script would not be filled until it was confirmed. I had to take the script back, leave, and give up because it was the weekend and we would be back home by the time it does get confirmed. I had already tried another pharmacy prior to this, who would have filled it but they did not have the medication in stock. I felt defeated at this point, which is not Walgreens' fault. I guess the stress and exhaustion got the best of me. I fill scripts on a monthly basis due to type 1 diabetes so I am very familiar with process and also exhaustion due to the rare occasions things go smoothly.

Horrible pharmacy service, feels so bleak and oppressive in there as well. Do what we did, went across the street to CVS and it is a world of difference.

If I could give this store a zero, I would! The staff is rarely friendly or helpful, and today we had our worst experience yet. Before driving there, I called to ask about dropping off a FedEx package to confirm they would accept our package based on size. The staff on the phone said they did not have a size restriction so husband loaded our heavy package (a couch) to take into the store. Once the package was unloaded and taken inside, the lady handling the FedEx counter rejected taking the package, was extremely rude, and even stated saying "It wasn't their fault" despite our previous phone call to the store. It was like she couldn't wait to decline helping a customer. Without any regard or care from Walgreens, we had to load the package again to take it home. I wish the staff would have been able to give an informed answer over the phone before we came into the store but I understand that everyone makes mistakes... However, the Walgreens team should know that just a little kindness with their customer service, could go a long way.
