We enjoyed a recent visit to this West Marine in Saint Augustine. The gentleman that helped us at the counter was friendly and interested in what we were doing, and even suggested a few local restaurants.
Having somebody so friendly and helpful really makes a mundane trip to pick up a boat part more enjoyable .
I would definitely go back to this West Marine. I felt like they were there to help us and they liked their job.
Another visit:
This time we were looking for some boat caulking and were able to find it. The store is organized, and the vibe is positive. I feel like the person who was helping us was informed on West Marine policy and products.

This west marine has the most fishing stuff I've ever seen in a west marine, but I was able to find all the hardware and rigging things I needed for a repair anyway. People are helpful.

Needed a 30 amp 50’ eel cord. They delivered in in 20 minutes to St Aug Marina. No questions. You need a 30 amp cord, we got it and delivered to Marina. Thanks Brian

Nice place but I walked in there dressed in my work clothes and was promptly ignored for over 27 minutes and I made eye contact with two different employees I watched them asking other customers if they could help but nobody even said hello I will NOT be back.
