Brian and Rachel did our kitchen renovation last year and it came out better than we had hoped. They pay attention to detail and are really wonderful about coordinating their workers and subcontractors. We love the kitchen and have been enjoying it for the past year without any issues. Thank you guys for a job well done! West to East will be our first call when we're ready for more renovations.

West to East Builders have been a fantastic company to work with for my home renovations! I initially contacted them for a master bathroom renovation in 2022. Since them, I have used them to renovate 3 other bathrooms, a laundry room and now currently my entire downstairs living room and kitchen. They are responsive and reliable. They complete jobs in a very timely manner all while keeping the worksite very neat and being respectful of my home and furnishings. Their work crew shows up early every morning and is trust worthy and kind. Brian and Rachael make a great team with Brian's construction knowledge and Rachael's design expertise. They were both very helpful with making the best decisions from a building and decorating standpoint. They do not cut corners. I have no hesitations to refer them to any family or friends. I cannot wait to see the final kitchen project!

Communication seemed to be present initially but as time passed it was greatly lacking. Cabinets are not the quality we are used to, we got new flooring as well as the interior painted. The painters splattered paint on new flooring as well as the wrong sheen was applied which meant allowing these painters to splatter more paint on floors and new cabinets that we were told we clean up if we allowed them back in to correct the issue. Very disappointed in so many levels. Maybe they had too much going on during this project because photos were shown of another Halloween party/project they did while our project was going on. So we simply didn’t feel our place was a priority or a focus. Our freezer was unplugged, some tool batteries have come up missing, some of the kitchen cabinet doors have flaws, doorway flooring have gaps and already coming apart and we haven’t been in here for 2 months yet, I could go on. My advice, either record conversations, have contractor write down what you want. When you spend hours cleaning the new flooring from the splattered paint, well you start noticing every little tiny thing. We cleaned up several times after crews. I almost forgot, painters cleaned brushes in the entryway area of our home where many plants and bushes are located and didn’t think anything of this. We still have paint splattered on our plants. Simply no respect for our home. So no, we would not recommend this company to anyone. I’m only giving 2 stars because of the initial attention but following up and being attentive was not there.

Rachel and Brian jumped in to help with my kitchen remodel after I had to fire my contractor! Brian came within hours , took a look at the job and without hesitation ordered my kitchen and bathroom cabinets. I own several businesses and this company is a special gem with owners who actually care , incredibly responsive and go above and beyond in taking care of their client, they definitely saved my day :)

West To East Design (Rachel and Brian) were fantastic to work with. From the very beginning we felt safe knowing that our big investment was going to be exactly what we wanted. My original design was boring and unimaginative, but they presented us with a design that is so stunning that I still lose my breath when I walk in. I think it says something when someone who had never been to my house thinks it was always this beautiful. The difference is night and day yet to a new observer it looks like it was always so perfect! Another very important part of the renovation is the people who are in your house doing the work. Brian and Rachel have assembled a group that arrives when they say, are neat and respect your home, and are kind and friendly. I actually enjoyed having them around. Most importantly the craftsmanship is impeccable. On the very rare occasion something was not quite right it was attended to without hesitation. Finally, Rachel and Brian are great people. They are responsible yet fun. They are family people active in their children's lives and great members of their community. The kind of people you can TRUST. We are beyond pleased with our new kitchen and all the work that turned our house into what it is now!

Brian and Rachel are a great team. They were professional, honest and have great communication skills. Their crew was awesome as well. They took our sad little 1975 ranch to a sweet modern set up complete with garage conversion to a mother in law suite for my mom. Even during a pandemic they did not miss a beat- would 100% hire them again for any project!!

I can't thank West To East Builders enough for my fabulous kitchen remodel. They seriously made all my kitchen dreams come true. Rachel and Brian were so helpful in the design process and helping me think out of the box and helping me make design choices that were cohesive to the look I was going for. Their help and ideas really made the kitchen look amazing! Brain and his team did such a great job on the build out and making the remodel process go as quickly and smoothly as possible. The craftmanship and finished product is very well done. I will definitely be using West To East Builders for all future home remodel projects!

“My wife Heidi and I bought a small 750sq ft cottage in Lincolnville back in 2014, but we were living and working in Orlando so we could only come up for short periods of time. However, we knew that we eventually wanted to relocate. When the time came to look for a contractor, we had a “no wiggle room” budget and specific ideas about what we wanted. We discovered West to East Builders through an ad in St. Augustine Social magazine. Brian, Rachael and the whole crew were absolutely fantastic, beginning with our first meeting and continuing throughout the process until project completion. We got exactly what we wanted, on budget and within schedule. We particularly appreciated their professionalism, transparency and timely communication throughout the entire process, but particularly when unforeseen events occurred, as we learned often happens when managing a major project involving older homes (ours was built in built in 1900). These events required real-time course corrections and West to East was “Johnny on the Spot,” executing them flawlessly and remaining within our budget. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience and to be honest, we find that we rarely want to leave our beautiful home. They definitely were instrumental in turning our dream into reality!”
