  I love this Walgreens because it is just up the street from my house. Not only is it convenient for my shopping pleasure, but the staff is great too !!! They are very personable & genuine !! This is definitely the place to go for anything you may need in a pinch, from school supplies, to makeup, or even if you have a sweet tooth after dinner. :-)

  PASSPORT PHOTO REVIEW I'm only writing this review because right now the sign in front of this Walgreens is advertising passport photos so I felt the need to share my experience. Last year I had my passport photo taken here. The man running the photo counter kept up a stream of conversation with me which I normally don't mind but it clearly disrupts his concentration so I think he should rethink this practice. My headshot was taken, he manipulated the image on the computer, all the while chattering away, and I watched him resize the image according to the template on the screen. I received my photos and when I got to the car I compared the image to the template on the official passport form. The scale of my image seemed wrong. The template showed a larger face that nearly fills the photo, where as the prints I received included my shoulders, making my face very small. I was concerned so I went back inside with the photos and an older lady looked at them and confirmed they were correct. So, based on two employees experience in this department I assumed what I had was valid and I sent away my passport paper work and I spent $60 extra to have my passport expedited. About a week later I got a letter from the passport office saying my photo was invalid. That day I almost went to Walgreens to raise hell, but instead I drove down the road to CVS and had my picture retaken. The passport template on the computer at CVS seemed to be way easier to use and I had no issues getting a picture printed correctly. The point of this rant is that I'm still irritated about this experience and I hope no one else wastes their money and time using the passport photo service here.

  All your basic needs as most other drug stores. It's fairly new. Clean and pretty large store. Walgreens and CVS are both pretty equal in my book. Friendly staff and helpful in finding your needs. I love the selection of cosmetics. Quick to get in and out and nice spacious parking.

  As I'm sure many people in the Shores are already aware of, this brand spankin' new Walgreens is a fantastic place to stop and do some quick shopping, get some photos developed, or pick up your prescriptions or medicine. This Walgreens is located in the Food Lion shopping center which was recently built on the corner of US1 and Shores Blvd... I wasn't sure at the need for another drug store here, seeing as there's a CVS about 500 feet down the road, but man, is this place nice. I was headed south for a weekend getaway, and needed an energy drink and a few last minute personal items, so I decided to swing in and see what this place looks like. First off- brand new. Everything is clean, immaculate, and this store was well-stocked and very well organized. Upon walking into the store, I was greeted by an employee, who not only welcomed me to the store, but asked if I needed help finding anything, and then handed a coupon book filled with tons of coupons for stuff all over the store. You're not gonna find that at other places like this. Now granted, it is a chain drug store, so it's going to be the same stuff that you can find at any other Walgreens, CVS, etc... Mostly make-up, OTC medicines, a pharmacy, photo lab, but also snacks, drinks, beer, greeting cards... you get the picture. It's going to be a lot more than you'd pay by going to a department store, but sometimes location is key. Overall, very impressed with this place. The staff was incredible, from the greeter to the lady at the checkout, very polite and courteous, answering questions, and more than helpful. The store was clean, well-stocked, and well-organized. The pharmacy area was wide open, with a few pharmacists available to fill prescriptions... Only thing keeping this from five stars is the prices of the products, but hey, not a bad place to stop and pick up some swag.
