Today I visited your store. The atmosphere was quiet, calm and good. As we were ready to check out, I wanted a water from the refrigerator. I opened the door and a spool of copper/solder/some sort of wire or metal. Fell from the top, striking me in my shin.
There were 2 employees there at the time and neither checked on me. I approached the nearest counter after wiping tears away, and told the rep, “that loud noise you just heard, was this falling and hitting me in my shin!”
I was going to leave it there, but the rep proceeded to tell me, as I walked away, “it was an accident”.
Advance Auto Parts! Please take note! Safety first for your employees and customers and visitors and community. That kind of disregard for an “accident” is unacceptable and should coached immediately. I did communicate it to the next rep with my concerns.
I am a safety professional and can tell you, all accidents are preventable.
I hope you visit the location this occurred in and have a sincere meeting and recurrent training on the subject of Safety for all.
Risk assessments should be completed at least once a quarter. Safety sweeps should be done regularly during the day, especially with pedestrian traffic, accident reports at the ready for documentation, and a clear understanding to the employees what is truly important.
I really hope this doesn’t fall on deaf ears.

Purchased an item which I have a receipt for I had to wait days for it to come in, so decided to purchase the same item from a different advance auto parts store of the street in St. Cloud. I tried to return the part that I never even picked up. With receipt in hand, Laura, the manager is saying that she cannot refund my money. This is not policy. I don't know what's going on with this place but it's gone downhill what is disappointment?

Went in with a dead battery this morning and from the moment I entered the store, Ataberk gave me all my options for my make and model. He was very knowledgeable about the battery options and explained all the pros and cons for the more expensive and less expensive options respectively. I made a quick decision, and he removed the old and replaced the new battery for me. His customer service was appreciated. As far as I am concerned he exceeded my expectations for the visit today and I wanted to say thanks! Ataberk gave amazing customer service and I highly recommend this store for your auto parts needs!

I'm leaving a review here because I can't on the website.Bought an AGM 31 marine battery less then 18 months ago. 1st battery stopped working within 6 months, warranty exchanged it, 2nd battery stopped working within 9 months.Can't exchange it again, warranty only covers 1 exchange. For a 300 dollar battery I expected at LEAST a few years from it.Garbage products. Garbage warranty. Go to Costco, they give a FULL refund allowing you to purchase another battery for a bad product. Unlike Advanced.
