I purchased a car from AEG several weeks ago through a website used by AEG to market its cars. I wired them the agreed upon price and contracted with another party to pick up and deliver the car to me. That was done. However, AEG has failed to provide me with the title to my new car, despite several requests and promises to do so. As a result, I cannot legally register it in my state nor even rent a storage facility in which to keep it until it is registered. The salesman, for unknown reasons, telling me he doesn’t know why the title hasn’t been sent to me and says he has to talk with “his manager.” A week later, I’ve still not received the title nor an explanation. Calling them is an exercise in futility because nobody ever answers the phone.

Hi! I recently acquired my new used car from AEG Motorsport. The unit was in perfect conditions and well-cared. They make me smoothly in the process and, I have to mention to Alexis that did a great job with alright with my paperwork that I had no issues in registering my car in my destination State. Don’t do what I did. Bought a car off BAT Bring A Trailer, from AEG. First, I paid way over its value. 100% my fault. Car booked for $7500. I never looked it nor had it inspected first. Again, don’t do what I did. But these guys took a beautiful looking car and it was a pig with lipstick. I had the car 9 months and every time I turned around something happened to. I never drove it for one week with out something happening to it. It spent more time in my garage and me working on it than it did on the road. Even what they said was new (rear hatch struts) broke in two months. A/C froze the front window but not the car. That went out. Had to recharge so I know there’s a leak. They covered that up. Window motor broke. Headlight broke. Interior lights blew fuses every other day. Washer fluid motor died. Engine and trans were amazing and ran near perfect. Interior was really nice. But it was those stupid things that drove me crazy and the a/c was costly. The duct work for a/c was messed up. Worse was dry rotted wires and wrapped with electrical tape to cover it up. No lie. I mean it was like a backyard mechanic with no abilities got it running just to sell. Oh, the battery died too. I should have know there was an issue when I pulled the hood release and the handle popped off one minute after I got to their shop to pick it up. But I had already bid and won and paid. I was legally and mortally obligated. I have purchased dozens of cars in my life and have had really great success. Don’t be a bidder buyer. I knew better. I drive for Mecum. It was foolish on my part but the cars are sold as is. And BAT wouldn’t do anything either. You’re not protected. Buyer beware. So, inspect it, drive it, wait, think and don’t over pay. A lot of things my fault, but they also misrepresented it. Today I sold it for half its value, had only driven it about 500 miles in 9 months, sunk a ton of money into it and lost my shirt. I told the buyer everything. And I mean everything. I wasn’t going to pull the wool over someone else’s eyes like they did to me. A smart man learns from his mistakes, a wise man learns from others. Learn from me. Be wise. Don’t bid on cars, don’t trust people you don’t know, have a private inspection done or better yet, have your mechanic at best do the inspection, ask questions, be patient. And don’t buy from AEG.
