went in today to try and cash a check. they informed me that since the check was from regions and it had my parents name on it that i would have to go to regions and have them cash it. i drove all the way to that bank and had wasted so much time because they didn’t open for another hour. when i went in the staff there told me that amscot should have been able to cash it because the names on the check didn’t have an “and” in between and my name and address was on the check. i figured this was correct as i tried to explain it to the associates and they did not listen at all. they kept cutting me off and saying “we can’t cash this check”. they had no sense of urgency to help in this situation and were extremely dismissive of everything i had to say. as i was talking to them they kept exchanging looks at eachother and even laughing at me. what was supposed to be a simple errand turned into an hour of me driving around in traffic. i will not be coming to this branch again and HIGHLY recommend nobody else come to this branch either.

The staff wasn’t very friendly during my visit, but I was able to get what I needed done, which is what really matters. However, I believe customer service should play an important role, especially when services are being requested or questions are asked. A smile or a bit of kindness would go a long way in making the experience more pleasant.

I had to return today for services and today’s crew…. Applause to them. This team hit all the customer service marks. It surely was a completely different experience. It was an absolute pleasure. Kudos to Cassandra and the entire team.
