Let me start off by saying the school looked wonderful. The tour I went on last week was great.
What was a waste of time was going in for the tour with a member of the school and then telling us that there were no slots available, the next day. Not sure what kind of program this director is running, supposedly one of the best, maybe should start with a simple “call back” that was promised when taking a tour to know about placement. Not the parents having to call back after not hearing anything, only to be told, “we’re full”. Please next time waste someone else’s time.

I recently relocated from out of state and tour this center with anticipation and enrolled my child in this daycare after being assured during the tour that his food allergy (eggs) would be handled with care and that accommodations would not be an issue. I brought this up early on — not only for his safety but to ensure he would be in a supportive environment.
Unfortunately, at orientation, two days before his actual start date, I was told by front desk staff that his allergy would be “difficult to manage.” It became clear they were not prepared, nor did they seem equipped or willing to take the necessary precautions. This was incredibly disappointing, especially after weeks of preparation and trusting their word.
I ultimately decided not to move forward with enrollment and contacted the owner directly to express my concerns — but unfortunately, I never received a response. While I was refunded the first week’s tuition and the annual supply fee, I believe the $150.00 enrollment fee should also have been refunded, given the circumstances and the assurances I was given at the time of registration. I understand that quality childcare comes at a cost, and I don’t mind paying for it — but I do expect that cost to reflect a standard of care and compassion that was not demonstrated here.
If your child has allergies or health-related needs, I strongly encourage you to ask very specific questions and get everything in writing. Our experience showed a significant disconnect between what was promised and what was actually delivered.

My wife and I were quite nervous about our son starting daycare this summer since he had never been in anyone else’s care before. He began with Mrs. Blanca, who is truly one of the sweetest souls we have ever met. She was incredibly kind and nurturing—stern but loving—and perfectly met his needs during those first few months.
When the school year started in August, he transitioned to another classroom with Mrs. Ann, and she has been a true blessing to our family. Transitions are usually difficult for him, but Mrs. Ann made it so easy for him to open up and feel comfortable. He now loves being in her classroom.
Mrs. Ann has taught him so much, and I’ve seen tremendous growth in him this year. He has learned to play with other children and express his wants and needs more clearly. It’s obvious she genuinely enjoys having him in her class. Her communication with us has been excellent, and her loving nature has made all the difference.
We feel so fortunate to have such wonderful teachers supporting our son’s early development.

We are so grateful for Ms. Eli and the wonderful experience she provided for our son in his first year of school. Before starting VPK, he had always been at home with me and had never been in the care of anyone else. I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher to welcome him with open arms.
Ms. Eli taught him so much throughout the year. One of my main reasons for enrolling him at this school was to help him learn Spanish, and the progress he made was incredible. At the start of the year, he didn’t know any Spanish words, and now he can confidently carry on conversations with my mother, who only speaks Spanish.
Academically, he thrived and finished the year with an above-average reading level. Beyond academics, Ms. Eli helped him learn how to play with other children and express himself more clearly. She always kept us informed of his progress and communicated with us well, which we truly appreciated.
Ms. Eli always seemed genuinely happy to be there, and you can tell she truly loves working with kids. Her kindness and nurturing approach made all the difference in making my son feel safe, confident, and excited to learn every day.
I truly feel that he couldn’t be in better hands. Thank you, Ms. Eli, for your dedication and care!

I’ve had two children who attended Building Brains Academy starting from 2018 until my second graduated VPK this year. I cannot adequately express just how much these teachers and this school means to us! The teachers truly care for and love each individual child. They are invested in the children’s success and challenge them appropriately to continue to grow & learn. We live in Lake Nona and faced the dreaded Narcoossee traffic, and I’d do it all over again, just to have my children graduate from the same program. They were both prepared above and beyond for kindergarten, and their VPK curriculum set a solid foundation for elementary education. We’ve loved two teachers in particular, Ms. Mei-Ling and Ms. Marla, who have collectively invested 6 years in my children. We will remember our years at BBA fondly!

My daughter had the joy of having Ms. Mei-Ling as her VPK teacher, and I truly cannot say enough good things about her. She radiates love—not just for her students, but for her work. You can feel how much she enjoys teaching, and it shows in everything she does.
She has a magical way of making every activity fun, engaging, and easy for the kids to understand. Learning in her classroom feels like a daily adventure!
I honestly wish we could take her with us wherever we go. Teachers like Ms. Mei-Ling are rare gems, and we feel so lucky to have had her in our lives!

We’ve had a wonderful experience with BBA! The staff is incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the well-being and development of the children. Our daugther loves going every day and comes home happy, engaged, and always excited to share what she had learned.
The facility is always clean, safe, and well-organized, with age-appropriate toys and activities that promote learning and creativity.
We’re especially grateful for Ms. Miriam, Ms. Liliana and Ms Mikaela. They were the very best with my daugther, it’s reassuring to know that our child is in such good hands.

We’ve been truly blessed and so lucky to have Ms. Miriam and Ms. Liliana as Avril’s teachers this year in Pre-K3. Their dedication, patience, and genuine love for their students shine through in everything they do. Every day, they created a classroom filled with joy, learning, and kindness—a place where our daughter felt safe, seen, and inspired.
As a mom, there’s nothing more comforting than knowing your child is not only learning but is truly happy and loved while doing so. Ms. Miriam and Ms. Liliana have been like second moms to Avril, and we’ve seen her grow in the most amazing ways because of them.
Thank you both for everything—for the hugs, the patience, the encouragement, and the heart you’ve given our daughter. You’ll always have a special place in our hearts and in Avril’s story.
We will miss you very much next school year!!!

Building Brains has been an amazing place for our son. From day one, we felt we had found the right place. The facilities are beautiful, always spotless, and the children adore their teachers. The curriculum is top-notch!
Ms. MeiLing is an outstanding teacher: loving, understanding, and kind. She makes the children feel comfortable with her and they absolutely love her! We decided to have our son do his VPK here, and it was definitely worth it.
We are incredibly grateful to all the staff. We’ve seen tremendous progress in our son and we’re so proud of everything he has achieved. Thank you, Building Brains Academy!

Our son has been at building brains going on three years now and we are so blessed and thankful to his teachers. He has learned so much and is thriving. I wanted a more intimate smaller setting for our son on top of the safety measures they have in place at the school were a big reason we chose this school. They are also a language immersion school with Spanish, mandarin, and French. Our son can speak a few sentences to us in Spanish and understands a huge majority when we have full conversations. The directors and front staff are always kind and respectful and all my concerns are promptly addressed. I would highly recommend this school.

Miss Eli, the teacher, is one of the best that children could have. She is a kind, attentive teacher who takes care of them and gives them a lot of love. All the children love her very much because she teaches them and dedicates quality time to them. I am impressed by everything my son learned at VPK. He is a child with a higher learning level than many others thanks to her.

We want to thank Ms. Mikayla and Ms. Leslie for their efforts in improving my child’s education. They provided many fun and creative experiences for Savanna, and we sure will miss them! I've loved our time with Building Brains Academy. Our daughter has attended 2 yrs now. She has learned so much, and advanced more than we could of imagined all while having fun with other kids in a school setting. All of this to prepare her for Kindergarten. We owe so much to Ms Mikayla and Ms Leslie. Both these ladies have handled my very active, sassy, emotion filled daughter and all her many moods, lol. Thank you so much!!! We will miss the BBA family. I personally recommend this facility and wholeheartedly trust them with my child.

My daughter attended to BBA for more than two years and I don’t have enough words to say thank you for the incredible experience we had. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and cared for, just like family. The staff is incredible warm, nurturing, and truly invested in the growth and happiness of each child. My daughter blossomed under their care, developing not only academically but also socially. The language immersion program is a standout feature that you simply can’t find anywhere else!
Every day, she was excited to go to daycare, and I always felt confident knowing she was in such a safe and stimulating environment. The communication from the team was excellent, keeping me updated on her daily activities and progress. I also appreciated how clean and organized the facility was, which gave me peace of mind.
We drove forty minutes every day to drop her off an hour and a half to pick her up for a full year, and it was worth every minute of the drive. That’s how much we believed in the quality of care she received. Unfortunately, because of the distance, we weren’t able to keep her enrolled long-term, which was a tough decision for us.
Thank you to everyone at BBA for creating such a loving and supportive space for children to learn and thrive. It’s clear that the staff genuinely loves what they do, and it shows in how happy and well-adjusted my daughter has become.
I wish BBA the very best and hope they continue to grow and open more locations, so more families can experience the amazing care they provide. Thank you again to the incredible team for everything you’ve done for us—you’ll always have a special place in our hearts. I highly recommend BBA to anyone looking for a truly outstanding daycare.
