went into the lobby yesterday to transact some business. The teller was friendly, professional and gave me just what I asked for in a timely manner.
I had additional business and was helped by Ms. Patricia Hughes. She was attentive, informative and handled my transactions perfectly. She was a true pleasure to work with. Kudos to you Ms. Patricia! I may have to start coming into the branch instead of just going through the drive through.

Well I went to the atm to get some money and the machine ate my bank card I went inside to see if they can get my card for was told that they don’t have any way into the atm and it’s through a third party and they don’t have any other information my you I was on my way home had no money and all they could say was sorry but you can call your bank and they will issue you a new card maybe your bank can overnight it to can you believe that I was so angry I would never ever recommend this bank to anybody please stay away

I am absolutely furious with South State Bank. They opened our account only to later claim that they didn't accept our paperwork. They went ahead and blocked our account without any warning! This is completely unacceptable and has caused us a huge amount of stress and inconvenience. If you value your time and money, stay far away from this bank. Their incompetence and lack of customer service are beyond belief!

What can I say? I just had the best experience ever, I came to open a business account and not only are the facilities amazing but I got the best service by the banker that you have to see, Valeria. She made the whole experience so easy. I definitely recommend any time and if you ever need an account of any kind of service from a bank, you should come see her.
