I'm a retired mechanic so I normally do my own work, but replacing an alternator on my Ford Edge was more than I wanted to tackle at my age. My son recommended Charlies so I had him give me a estimate . The estimate was a good price for the job..Being a mechanic I can be very critical of other people's work, but his work was quality , timely, and the price was fair....

Charlie replaced the clutch in my wifes S-10 and after taking it back to him twice complaining of being too stiff and him saying it was fine, we took it to another local mechanic who found that one of the components had been installed backwards, after the second mechanic repaired his findings it worked perfectly.

Charlie replaced the clutch on my wifes Chevrolet S-10, after complaining to him twice that the clutch was too stiff and him telling her it was fine, we took the truck to another local mechanic. This mechanic discovered that one of the parts had been installed backwards, he installed the part correctly and the clutch worked fine. So, if Charlie treats the daughter of his long time "best friend" this way, how will he treat you ?? Do yourself a favor and find a better mechanic !!
