I became a customer of Chase in Colorado in 2001. I have of course had to over look a few things over the years. Because I am now disabled, I have to use meal delivery services. Six days ago I made such an order. The meal delivery service put a temporary hold on funds in my account. An hour later I received my order and I was charged for the actual amount. According to the meal delivery service, they released the hold at that time. The hold is still on those funds. I called Chase to find out why. I spoke to a gentleman and explained the situation and that I had had to cancel an important doctor’s appointment because of this. He told me it was policy and I would have to just wait for the funds to be released. I told him this was not okay and asked to speak to a manager. Boy I hate asking for a manager. It is something I rarely do. He said he would get someone but assured me the answer would be the same. I spoke to the manager and yes the answer was the same. I told the policy was unfair and it was hurting me as I cannot see the doctor I need to see. I know there is not a technical or business reason for this. The hold should have fallen off automatically when the charge was finalized. Essentially I have been charged double. I am closing my account with the meal delivery service and will be finding another bank. If it was one day, it could be a product of a poor coding in the bank’s software. That does not account for 6 days. This is an unfair practice, that is in place to make the bank money. No customer should have to suffer in service of the bank’s greed.

I have been a Chase customer for
Over 15 yrs…they suddenly restricted all my
Accounts and sent me a text to call and review the situation. I did and they could not tell me why it was restricted instead they told me all accounts will be closed. After several phone calls they suggested I go into the branch and SEE if I could withdraw my money from the account. After waiting in the lobby after opening time, and again for someone to assist I finally was able to speak to a banker. Alondra was very helpful and after looking to my accounts could not understand why this was happening. She called to see and inquire and was told the same thing!!!!! They could not disclose why they were closing the account but they would allow me to take out some money (2,000$) with the manager approval…. She went to get this manager approval and both Taina and Jeannette only approved (500$). Chase is the only bank I bank with (which lesson learned) however the managers did not even come over to let me know why that was the amount they approved. My accounts are restricted, can’t use the debit card, the rest of my funds are essentially frozen and I was left with “have a good rest of your day” Customer service is lacking, they walk around and talk to each other with a line out the door. ATMS are constantly out of order. And they treat their customers with ZERO regard. Would not recommend at all.

Chase bank held a deposit that was drawn on their own bank not only was the check verified. It was removed. from the account of the person who wrote the check over nite. . The following day I called customer service and they said that the funds would be released within 20 to 30 minutes. I followed up six hours later and it still was not done. I got the manager on the phone and he said it would be released if it was verified by the person who wrote the check, I added the check originator on a three way call with the Chase manager. The Chase manager was going to call him back to verify the release of funds. He never called him back when I called to follow up and wanted to speak to the managers supervisor they told me they would get back to me in a week , this is all because I did not tell them why the check was written to me, if they had any sense at all, they had to do was look at the remarks on the check. Now I understand why they have a 2.5 rating on Google they should have less after being with Chase for almost 2 decades, I will be deleting all three of my accounts.

Not a good Chase location, they are understaffed. I made an appointment for a different Chase location to avoid going here.

Saint Cloud sucks, but nothing is worse than the Chipotle next to this bank. They're awful. Don't eat there.

Terrible customer service. No one cared to greet us when we came in or ask us if we needed help. I worked for chase for a long time and this is not how you treat customers. There were only 2 bankers working and neither of them were helping anyone when we came in. One had an appointment in 30 mins and they could've easily taken us and chose not to. They chose to ignore us the entire time. The other banker who supposedly had an active appointment then chose to help and greet random people coming in rather than help us. This is an extremely poorly managed branch. I wouldn't recommend coming in here to do any business. No sense of urgency whatsoever. The girl who is supposed to check in clients was nowhere to be found when we initially came in, and there was another lady who came in and was just as confused as we were. No sign in sheet. No ipad or kiosk to check in either. The young girl who did mention that we are to check in with her did so after us sitting down for 15 mins. She clearly had no experience and only solution was to get us to come another day. Look at other reviews. We are not the only customers this happens to. Avoid going to this branch is you can!

My review isn’t towards this location. It’s chase in general. False advertisement from corporate, won’t fix their mistake.
