This place is an absolute joke! They try to bill your insurance for things that don’t have anything to do with your appointment so that they can get money out of you. Lady told me to call my insurance and so I did. When the insurance tried to call her to explain my benefits and tell her that I had a $0 copay, she wanted to ignore the call as I’m sitting right in front of her with the insurance on hold because she knows she’s wrong. When I told her she can hear the phone ringing and to stop ignoring it, she turns around and says she’s in a “meeting” when I was standing there the whole time. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody.

I’ve always had a difficult time putting my trust in doctors, but that’s not at all the case with Dr. Medina and her staff. I know my family’s health concerns are in good/ great hands. I’d be remised if I didn’t mention how thorough and knowledgeable she really is.

Felt immediately comfortable with Dr Medina and her staff who were extremely personable and friendly. It felt like a conversation with a friend rather than a grilling from a doctor.

If I can give it NO star I would. This practice is all about money and if you call them out they will be so rude and unprofessional and will not complete the service. Below is my formal complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and the Florida Department of Health. PS. The reason I went here because it's close to my new address and I totally regret wasting my time with them. I went back to my previous family practice and everything checked good with my health not what the Medina practice saying that I would need all the work done? I went for a physical visit on 8/10/2020 at the Osceola Woman's & Family Medicine Specialists located at 618 13th St A, St Cloud, FL 34769. After the consultation, they were charging me $100 where it clearly states on my insurance card my only responsibility is $15. I called my insurance provider Cigna and they call the Dr. office to let them know my only responsibility is $15. I ask for paperwork and at the front desk, Margarita said that she's so busy and they will (snail mail) me all my paperwork? After that, they say that they sent my prescription order and lab work, but they didn't send my prescription to my local CVS St. Cloud and when I went to Quest Diagnostics St. Cloud for my blood work on 8/19, they didn't send my lab works either. I was in pain from 8/10-8/19 as they prevent me to get my Albuterol and I was wheezing every night and can't sleep. The promised snail mail never came in, so I called the office on 8/19 and spoke to Mary Medina the office manager, and was very rude and unprofessional to me and her excuse was the mail got lost? everything is electronic now and they can send me an email about my appointment, but they have to snail mail me my paperwork? it doesn't make sense to me? After the call on 8/19, I called my credit card company to pull the payment because they didn't finish the service that I paid for as Mary Media doesn't want to listen to me and just being rude and unprofessional towards me. She keeps saying I'm not going to argue with you, so I say to her that I'm not arguing I'm communicating and she's the one that won't listen and then Mary hangs up on me. Now they send me to their billing department and they threatened that if I don't pay them that they will send me to the collection agency and Mary Medina would not even return all my calls and all their staffs are being rude on the phone every time I call and ask to speak to her. I will attach the incident timeline with this form to show my many attempts to work with their billing and their office at 618 13th St A, St Cloud, FL 34769 Phone: (407) 556-3999.

Been a patient over 10 years, I would change doctors for nothing. Very caring, gets to the root of the problem, no playing around. 10 stars from me.

Have been a pt of Dr. Medina since high school. Wouldn't recommend anyone else for a primary care physician. Thorough, informative and most of all patient, she has giided me through tough medical episodes in my life.

I would agree completely with the first review. The Doctor does indeed have a wonderful personality as does her loyal RN Lucille. Both are a gift to their profession. The doctor listens with deep care & concern. It is my hope that she listens now. Unfortunately, it is her office staff that is ruining the practice. I have been a patient for well over 10 years and I have seen her practice grow and good employees leave. It is true what the previous reviewer stated, it has been increasingly difficult to make an appointment. If you are lucky enough to get someone to answer the phone, don't expect an appointment right away. Once, while at the office, I made a comment about the phone ringing... one of the ladies responded that sometimes they take the phone off the hook (alarming). For the past few years I have resorted to the Minute Clinic when ill. The office manager is indeed abrupt as stated by the other reviewer and seems to lack the social skills necessary in a health care environment. Unfortunately, some of these employees are her family members. Although I have absolute faith in Dr. Medina, I have lost faith in the practice due to several concerns. Last year, I had routine blood work done. Days later, I received a call from Jeannie stating that there were abnormalities and I had to be seen by the doctor. I nervously waited, several days, worrying about what could be wrong. I soon received a letter in the mail from the doctor's office stating that everything was normal. I immediately phoned and asked for clarification. Jeannie said that she saw a "red sticker" on my chart and assumed that it required my follow up. I'm sorry but I don't want an unqualified individual to make an ASSUMPTION regarding my health. Then, a payment "lost" even though it was mailed in the same envelope with other correspondence that was received. The practice has grown to more than it is capable of handling. The operating hours are limited (short day on Fridays). That, along with the wrong personnel does not work in this WONDERFUL doctor's favor.

Review 22/100 2017 review Pros, she's really thorough, she has a beautiful personality, she listens to your needs and responds accordingly, the facility is clean, and the nurses and office managers are very polite. I have been going to her for about 9 years. My parents and husband also go to her. She has been a blessing especially for my parents. She has helped them meet so many of their medical needs. Cons: There is one lady that answers the phones at times, she can be a bit abrupt and doesn't take into consideration that some of the patients are professionals as well and must schedule appointments in their calendars too. But, the two regular girls at the front are very nice. Also, she is the only doctor there and it is sometimes difficult to get an appointment. I'm not really a fan of the way the appointments are ordered, i.e.: you can only discuss two problems per appointment. I feel like there may be more things going which can not be addressed unless you make another appointment.
