The trainer's are very nice and they have a lot of Patience. I've found the right dog for me and it's great. Armi is her name.

This place is a fraud... they were just another charity stealing money from Veteran's for a tax write off... straight up crooks!!! They've been closed by the feds...

If you don’t get dog from them save the time and money. They are not organized. Unprofessional and lack sensitivity towards veterans. We had the worst experience and lost money, time, and only got a sour time with the instructor and management for over a ur. Yes, we had high hopes and they just gave up on our veteran and the dog we brought to them. Hope this helps and saves you time, money, and emotions.

I am writing because I have dealt with you guys for over a year. I called the office and spoke to many staff members and have went thru training with 3 dogs which were all taken and given to other disabled members. I myself a disabled vet with a full time job was told on my last telephone call to Eva at your St cloud location that the reason you guys felt i didn't need a dog was because I had a full time job. Which was not on the requirements list. I have several text messag

If they weren't so discriminate against breeds I might recommend them. But yet again another place that feels pit bulls are a bad breed. So terrible. Their trainer refused to meet our dog to evaluate him to be trained as a service dog for my combat wounded husband. Even though I am 100% certain he would have passed any temperament test they gave him. Wonderful with other animals, small children, other adults, never EVER showed an ounce of aggression. But no, she just wouldn't

Simply one of the best around for dog training and boarding. Norma and her team always take excellent care of our beloved poochies.

I have PTSD, 100% disabled, unemployable. I had an intake appointment with John Lowe. He asked me to sit in his office. I asked him to keep the door open. From that moment on, his verbiage and body language became negative and hostile. I don't need to start a relationship with an organization that's supposed to help me in that way. I walked out. I am a female, and at no time in my life should I be made to feel inferior or unwelcome simply because I looked out for my own safety.

I was lucky to find out about Pawsitive Action when the nonprofit organization I'm involved with held a fundraiser for them. We got to visit their facilities and see a class, as well as check out the (adorable) puppies who will be future service dogs. Their staff is so friendly and they definitely care about the cause. As an animal lover with several veterans in my family, I can't say enough about how special and important the work that Pawsitive Action does is.

First started pawsitive action the intake process was great communication was good. Started doing classes was all good, though no one knew my name, but I called them by their names ( instructors and Norma). Was not getting any feedback on any training just please make sure you sign in and at the end of class and a see you next week. I would ask how they thought I was doing, never a real answer just more of a deflection answer and see you next week. The second class in Norma asked us to do a short intro on camera so she could use that footage to get donations. So I did that and kept coming to class.

I can't say enough "pawsitive" things about them. I am so grateful for their assistance to my husband who is a disabled veteran. A service dog will help him immensely. The staff, volunteers, and trainers here are knowledgeable and friendly. Their facility is off the beaten path, but it's worth the drive. Their animals are happy, healthy, and well-cared for. We are so pleased with this organization.
