We have been going to Shear Connections for years now, and especially to stylist Christine Alcarez.
Christine’s skills with color are creative and outstanding. She LISTENS to her clients, and always delivers a beautiful cut, style or blowout. What I respect most about her is that she will also weigh in on a client’s ideas in order to ensure whatever new style is being considered will look its best on the specific client, as sometimes our visions and how we see our hairstyle may not really come out that way, so the stylist’s input as to an individual’s hair, texture, etc. is critical, and that comes from years of experience, ongoing learning and keeping up with trends and new products.
The salon is also conveniently located, and everyone there is pleasant and provide an excellent, relaxing experience for customers in a pleasant atmosphere.

Christine is truly an artist when it comes to hair color! She helped me lighten all the dark brown I had been dying my hair for almost 20 years and grow out my gray without needing to cut my shoulder length hair. If you’re looking for beautiful color without harming your hair Christine is your girl!

My husband and I live in Clermont, and every 5-6 weeks we travel almost an hour to see Christine at Shear Connection. Christine has been cutting our hair for almost 12 years, and we consider her part of our family. Whatever we ask for, she listens and makes it happen. WORSE PLACE.I WENT FOR HAIR CUT AND THE LADY TOLD ME SHE DIDN'T HAVE NO TIME..BUT THE IT SAID OPEN I GUESS IT WAS BECAUSE I WAS HISPANIC DARK SKIN.. ANOTHER LADY WENT INSIDE WITH GIRL AND SHE DIDN'T CAME OUT MEANING THEY HAVE TIME FOR HER BECAUSE SHE WAS WHITE LADY.. SHE DIDN'T EVEN TOLD ME IF I WANT APPOINTMENT FOR ANOTHER DAY SINCE SHE DIDN'T HAVE TIME AT THAT MOMENT... BUT LIKE I SAID AS SOON SHE SAW ME HER ATTITUDE CAME OUT WITH I DONT HAVE TIME...SO IF YOU DON'T HAVE TIME PUT SOMETHING OUTSIDE THE DOOR LETTING CUSTOMERS KNOW ABOUT YOUR TIME...
