“This is one of my favorite stores in St Petersburg! There are endless things to look at and enjoy, and whenever there is a special occasion, this is where I get gifts for my friends and family.
The things I have collected so far, like a lovely Russian doll and a spinning music box of Saint Basil cathedral, among others, sit proudly on my shelf so everyone visiting me can admire them. I wear the exquisite seraphinite jewelry I got here almost every day, and it is such a unique stone as well! I haven’t seen it anywhere else but here.
Vladimir and his wife are very kindhearted people, and welcome me every time I come. He has helped fix a lot of my jewelry, too!”

“One of the best art museums in the Southeast. Mostly recent period art of the old west displayed well. The building is constructed to best display the paintings and sculptures. Probably the largest selection of sculptures I’ve seen in one place other than in Italy.”

“Great store selling American Indian Arts and Crafts. I needed to buy a gift for a friend that collects Indian antiquities. The owner, Harriet, was a great help. She really is an expert on what she sells in her store and is very friendly.
There is a great selection of pottery, basketry, jewelry and art as well as other items. I ended up buying a beautiful hand made flute by a Chicasaw artisan.”

“I checked out SaltLight ART today after I was thrift shopping. This place is great for gifts, and cute classy hippie styles. I didn't intend on shopping really just came into browse and found several things I really enjoyed. The gal working today might have been the sweetest, and the best customer service I've had in a long time. I also heard her mention that the owner is a local artist and hand makes the jewelry sold in the store, so I had to get a necklace. Great prices on jeans and tops. Definitely check out!”

“My husband and I recently found ourselves making an unscheduled stop in St. Petersburg, FL for a day. We had just arrived from Chicago late the previous night. We didn't know anything about St. Petersburg, but figured the Visitors Center was the best place to begin. We were not disappointed! The staff was very welcoming, even offering to place our luggage in a secure spot. We were advised to take the tour bus around the city to get oriented. We did take the bus, but also did quite a bit of walking as the weather was beautiful. We took in the sights at The St. Pete Pier, and had a wonderful meal at Fresco's Waterfront Bistro. Many thanks to Shelli, Visitors Center manager, for helping us make the most of our brief time in St. Petersburg. So many things to see and do there. We wish we could've stayed longer!”
