“I went to the St. Petersburg Free Clinic and I remembered how caring and full of compassion this place is. As long as you have a photo ID, St. Pete free Clinic food pantry will serve you. They also assist with obtaining photo IDs if needed with a referral to go to DMV. You are provided a variety of food such as Ground Chicken, different frozen meats, produce of choice like potatoes, dozen of eggs, milk, breads.”
“If I could give 10stars I would. Stacy, Skip,Jenny!! Thank you for allowing me to end my days in such a pleasant and supportive environment. I’ve already had many laughs and know there will be many more. You have something special?”
“This place is great! I chose it to become my primary care physician based on proximity to down town st pete. And although I waited for almost 30 minutes, behind in the back, the service from Kalie Whited was amazing. ? ? she took my asthma seriously and prescribed accordingly, beyond what I antipicapated from her. She blew me away with her availability and made me feel heard and seen.
They also have this free cabinet of period products in the lobby/waiting room.”
“The company I am so honored to be a part of SB Pro Roofing did a tour here at Parc with Lisa Emory and it was so eye opening. From the care and amount of staff it takes to do that. How far we as humans have come since there opening over 50 years ago. The residents are just incredible in so many ways. So loving, talented and egar to be a part of whatever is going on around them. I have seen and been apart of many non-profits but PARC is unlike any other! Thank you Lisa for the tour and education on amazing human beings from staff to residents, you all are WONDERFUL!”

“All the staff were welcoming and helpful and I got the cutest Lil fur baby from there!
For the small donation they ask, they definitely go above & beyond!”
“Stephanie was an absolute pleasure to speak with. Her genuine passion for helping those facing hardship is truly inspiring. She’s motivated me, and many others, to support this organization and its mission of compassion!”
“This is an amazing space! It is a beautifully restored building that is pays homage to the past of St. Pete while putting action in place to build a better, healthier, and more inclusive future for the area. I have been there 4 times in the past 2 weeks as a student of the community after having returned to greater Tampa/St. Pete area after a 3 year stay in CA and have gained a wealth of knowledge and an abundance of resources in just those 4 visits.”
“This is a true thrift experience. Lots of different items with great prices. Yes, you have to dig through the merchandise and really take your time looking but isn’t that what thrifting is all about? Besides, the volunteers are very kind and friendly. It is a hidden St. Pete gem.”
“I was new in town and needed Professional Tax services I called them and they answered all my questions before I was a client. Now 2 years later I'm still with them and planning on staying for many more years.THANKS CARTIER CPAs, LLC”
“This organization is an asset to our community. Professional, consistent, caring staff; strong communication; flexible to changes & always a clear plan; programming that is valuable & fun; good people doing important work that will give memories that last a lifetime.
I've worked with Pathfinder for single day trips in Pinellas County & end-of-year overnights at Cedarkirk, and we've attended many open tree climbs at their office. Every experience with Pathfinder is such a treat, and I highly recommend schools or local families to check them out.
Dan and Bre were extremely helpful when planning our 3 day overnight program. My group included high-needs students & never once did they make me feel like our group was a burden or a challenge to accommodate or work with. I knew which activities I wanted for my students from the programming booklet, and Dan and Bre helped me work through overall goals and site logistics to help me understand what the best possible program could look like for us. Then, Javier and Willow were incredible facilitators on program. They clearly worked well together & with the Cedarkirk site staff. Javier & Willow made our students feel safe while having fun, and I felt like I was able to take a big step back as a chaperone & let the magic happen.
Cedarkirk was an excellent site for our program: clean and well maintained, easy to navigate, excellent food (especially the cookies), and a beautiful, natural space just an hour from St. Pete. I would pick this location for programming again.
I recommend Pathfinder to any teacher or facilitator that wants a high-quality experience for their students because they will learn so much about teamwork, communication, and themselves. I recommend the open tree climbs to everyone because Pathfinder provides a unique experience that is challenging, safe, and really fun. I will continue working with Pathfinder as long as I am an educator, & I look forward to watching their continued success as an organization.”
“Grateful for the gifts this Christmas, my girl. Happy, her face of joy when she saw so many gifts, she had never been able to have a Christmas like this, thank you.”
“All I can say is if you want a new way of living they'll definitely help you get there! I've seen it happen for many woman and men! You just have to trust the process and stick it out even on the hard days! Lots of love for westcare!!!!!”
“I absolutely love the triangles program here and all the teachers and staff. My son has struggled trying out prek programs. Here the teachers love the kiddos like their own, they do a great job at keeping the kids safe and focusing on social and emotional development, and i’ve seen so much improvement in my son. My son has learned so much and is completely thriving thanks to this wonderful program. I couldnt ask for my son to go anywhere with more patient and caring teachers. Highly recommend!!”
“I went there and had my taxes done for free and friendly people an excellent place to go for a help with more than just taxes they help with all kinds of stuff you get your food stamps recertified there”
“We were attending a celebration of life there. Always enjoyed the fish fry that used to happen on Friday nights during Lent. Love the bar area!! And great staff who work there!!”
“Just went in and got GREAT deals! Bought 11 movies and a book spent 12.58 of everything. Well worth the money spent, all triple a title movies. Books aren't bad and are in very good condition! DEF CHECK OUT!!!!!”
“I went there on Sunday and I was pleasantly surprised by this little spot! I loved the art work and jewelry pieces and Mrs. Smith was so helpful! My favorites were the animal paintings from David Smith and the very vibrant mermaid and sea life paintings by Theresa Franke! Some absolute talent. I can’t wait to go back! I bought this print to remind me of my time in St Pete Beach, it also reminds me of a very amateur photo I took the previous day on the beach of the same type of bird. I love looking at it❤️❤️❤️”
“I really wanted to give the facility 5 stars but what was posted on Facebook or social media did not reflect the correct time of events. The commander apologized but the extra driving and rescheduling my day was a serious inconvenience. I am confident the information DAV provided was helpful to individuals who arrived 90 minutes later.”
“Recently visited this location to attend a graduation ceremony for a dear friend. The staff were pleasant, helpful and attentive to all attending! The event was well planned and went very smoothly. A great way to award the graduates and welcome them to their new vocations!”
“I want to give a huge shout-out to Mr. Blair, a resident monitor at The Salvation Army in St. Petersburg. He truly embodies what the Salvation Army claims to stand for: service, compassion, respect, and integrity. He is sweet, consistently respectful to residents, and always willing to go the extra mile. I’ve often seen him working alone, handling responsibilities without complaint, yet he still operates as a team player who treats everyone with dignity. His work ethic, patience, and professionalism are evident every time he’s on shift. Quite frankly, some of the other monitors could learn a lot from him. Mr. Blair sets the bar for how residents and coworkers should be treated. Unfortunately, not all staff reflect that same level of professionalism, and there have been instances where rude or dismissive behavior from others has painted the organization in a negative light. Mr. Blair, however, consistently represents the Salvation Army in a positive, respectful, and honorable way, regardless of what’s happening around him.
The Salvation Army is fortunate to have someone like Mr. Blair. He is an asset to this organization, a role model for his peers, and truly deserving of recognition for the exemplary work he does.”
“EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW THAT THE Catholic CHURCH and Catholic Charities do the most to help the homeless and low income are helped more by these 2 agencies then any other agency in Pinellas County then any other agency in the surrounding counties. Thank you all for all you do.”
“I came to alpha house Oct 19th 2023! Best decision I’ve ever made everywhere you go they’ll be bumps along the way but the more you fight and put your kids and self first and also god himself everything will flow ! I was the last person to get into alpha and the first to leave many trials and tribulations but I made some life long friends got to experience new things and mature in ways I didn’t even see fit at first to this day in 2025 I’m still able to call and get things I need for both my kids and myself ! I encourage all hard working girls/women to come here to get the experience you do what you’re supposed to do I’m telling you the staff will break their backs for you ! I wouldn’t be where I am without the program if I could go back in time I’d do it again ! And we’re human we won’t get along with everyone! But again one foot in front of the other because YOU write your future only YOU can tell your story ! And always remember you have someone childhood in your hands ! No times for games once you bring life into this world ! Again thank you to all the staff that kept me going even on days where I just genuinely didn’t feel like it ! You have to be uncomfortable in places to move forward the more comfortable you are the more lazy you become ! Never settle !”

“My experience with SVDP CARES was an excellent one. I can't even begin to tell you how my case manager Asa was always right on top of everything and right there to assist with any issues we had. She is amazing and such a good person. Idk where on earth we would be without SVDP CARES . We were homeless on the streets and now we have a roof over our head. They helped us apply for assistance with social security and with section 8. I rarely had a worry. I really feel blessed to have had the opportunity to find this organization.”
“My autistic son loves this place because the staff are all good to him and work with him despite his disabilities, it gives him a place of independency in the gym and the pool area even though it's not their responsibility to keep an eye out for him they even help me with a discount membership so that I can accommodate him if needed me to assist him at the YMCA
Thank you to their staff Ms Alexa in the gym does a wonderful job what's my autistic son in the gym”
“Loved this tour!! David the tour guide was such a wealth of information! So fascinating! Learned so much about our history that I never knew. Highly recommend for all ages!”
