Knowledgeable NP and doctors. Recommended holistic products are given based on book and experience. Don’t have everything you may need in stock for convenience. Wait room is comfortable. Office could benefit from a deep cleaning, removal of cobwebs, and better Feng shui. Reception needs improvement on speed,quality, customer service, and professionalism. The wait is always too long in lobby and in the room. Unfortunately no communication on their behalf of follow up appointment. Out of site out of mind. Cost of out of pocket visit is average. Unfortunately billing department tried to bill me at visit and again via mail, and I had to make aware and corrections. Annoying. Will I continue to take my family? Only for specialists if necessary. I would love for holistic to be my primary, but this office needs improvements.

I've been with Docs outside the box now for 3 years now. I foolishly attempted to try another MJ Dr closer to me. What a mistake! The wait alone in the lobby with no othet customets was worth my usual drive to St. Pete. The office was extremely unprofessional and the Dr wasn't even a certified Dr. Unlike Docs outside the Box who are both Drs (one a Cardiac Surgeon Dr).
Heather (Nurse) is respectful, knowledgeable and friendly. Plus, she does what she says I'm reporting renewals the same day as the visit!
Docs also sells a variety of naturally derived vitamins.

The Docs, receptionists, assistants, PAs and all are very knowledgeable, supportive and helpful partners with me for my health care. They have a lot of traditional and alternative therapies and treatments that I haven't found at other doctors.

Pros: Takes insurance, books appointments in a timely manner, offers both allopathic and supplement based support. Nice people.
Cons: Providers are rushed, not personalized care. Doesn't meet the standards of truly holistic care. Appointments always run late (without fail).
Docs used to be great but since expanding providers are rushed, irritable and do not have the time for patients. The "holistic" approach might better be described as a showroom for Standard Process. With high staff turnover, most are allopathic providers who understand which standard process product helps with which symptoms. Not true holistic care. They lack experience in true holistic support options.
When your provider leaves don't expect communication or a transition to another provider. Patients are just another file who get shuffled along.
I miss the days of providers who truly cared and for a while Docs seemed like they did but that is no more. If you bring concerns up, the staff will defend their stance - not really open to feedback.
Unfortunately despite the out-of-pocket cost of seeing other holistic providers, we had to make the switch.

Unfortunately my experience has declined. I posted issues I was having with no response to my medical questions. Next visit I was advised the person was let go and things would improve. Again it's now 2 weeks and no response to my medicine questions. The next appointment I was lectured that I self sabotage and I am wrong on my review. I cancelled my next appointment.
I have found much better care.

I've been going to Docs Outside the Box for more than two years. Their holistic approach to medicine, especially the emphasis on preventing disease, is a philosophy I wholeheartedly support. My experiences with their providers--primary and cardiologist--have been positive and helpful. They listen, answer your questions, and never rush you. You feel like a person, and not a number. Your thoughts and opinions are given consideration. I feel blessed to have found them.

Tried it for a year hoping they would be different. Inconsistent is extremely frustrating. I get the same blood work every 4 months and every 4 months the office charge. The quest charge are always different. Once- someone in the office added more blood work requests and no one knows who or how it got there. After throwing a fit they finally took care of the charges.
I have spoken to someone in mgmt a couple weeks ago with the question of why is every single bill different. She immediately blamed quest and was supposed to call me back but have not heard from them yet. 3strikes. Your out!

Have been there twice. The nurses and doctors are friendly and knowledgeable. My only beef both times came to billing. Be prepared to be nickel and dimed.
