If you are looking for an artistically unique location for your event, look no further than Duncan McClellan Gallery in St. Petersburg. As an Event Planner, I survey venues to meet the needs and expectations of clients and have worked with every type of venue imaginable.Duncan McClellan Gallery is among my very select favorites. It is a world apart from the blase, stagnant vanilla shell atmosphere at a ballroom or hotel meeting space. This venue has personality, charm, stunning blown glass artwork, and a sculpture garden with winding boardwalks enhanced by evening ambient lighting. The indoor /outdoor venue is a cross between a funky Key West courtyard and a cosmopolitan art gallery with impressive glass and sculpture offerings from around the globe.Their Chill Lounge brings both worlds together and includes an outdoor stage and reception area that can accommodate a casual event or transform for the most sophisticated soiree.A glass-blowing demonstration can add to their unique offerings for your event and will captivate your guests.Owners Duncan and Irene McClellan are amazing hosts and the creators of this incredible space. Along with their sweet resident felines, they are a pleasure to work and will provide the backdrop for a memorable out-of-the-box guest experience.

By far the most intriguing and unique glass blown artwork I have ever seen! Duncan and Irene McClellan (owners) answered all of our questions and gave helpful insight to all the artists, including Duncan himself. Had a chance meeting and photo opportunity with one artist, Kevin Daigle, who was repairing a machine the artist used frequently, and he gave some interesting information about how artist mold, shape and polish art pieces. I definitely donated !

What a great way to spend the morning! The variety of glasswork was astounding and the creativity inspiring. The owner, Duncan, took so much time to speak with us and even gave us mangos from his beautiful garden that adorns the property. What a gem right in the heart of St. Pete! If you are looking for a new piece of art to accent your home or just want to take in the beauty of other’s creations, you won’t be disappointed.

We were welcomed upon arrival and given a quick and informative introduction. We saw some very talented artist work and beautiful scenery. We were able to ask question about the art and artist. The staff is all super nice and happy to help! Admission is free and donations are welcome.

I know of the gallery from a newspaper article, proximity to the brewery area and people connected to work (ASI), past and present. I went with my Mom and several good friends here from Scotland. One of them does fused glass. Seeing the kiln and the working area was very interesting. We were all very pleased to discuss the gallery with Irene and Duncan. We all really enjoyed the gallery (amazing skill and a wide variety of glasswork), as well as the outside gardens and watching a class of children. I plan on making a return visit with other family and friends. Highly recommended!

A really nice free gallery with beautiful glass pieces to look at and buy. Most pieces are hundreds or thousands of dollars. There are a few under a hundred over where they show how to blow glass. The outside garden area is really beautiful as well. Lots of orchids and fruit trees and art to explore. There are also some resident cats there. :).

If you are in or headed to SW Florida, don't miss this opportunity to see incredible glass works of art. It is very impressive when the owners/artists greet you when you come in the door. But that's when you are "blown away" lol, by the glass art that is in front of you. The amount of glass works from different artists will leave your jaw dropped. Mostly, McClennan's work etching glass is extraordinary. You must go, the entire grounds and glass shop can't be missed. They also support a mission call DMG School Project which enables young folks to learn about glass blowing, even a mobile studio. I will go each time I am down in Florida, probably a few times and bring more friends.
