“Attended a friend's birthday gathering here. It was my first visit. The wine collection here is way out of my league. But wines are described on little notes, which is a wonderful service for customers.
It seems they would do well to teach classes which would educate and increase their patron base.
The social space was quite quirky and playful. It was a delightful place to spend the afternoon.”

“This is our go-to place for non-alcoholic beers. Amazing selection and reasonable pricing, plus good sales happen on favorite brands. We have to travel a bit further, but we balance that fact with stock up on the non-alcohol beers that we like.”
“Was looking for a gift bottle of Buffalo Trace for a friend, called around, they had it. Didn't go to the bar, was with my wife, and she's a gin drinker (you know how brits are). Shopped around inside a little bit, great selection of brown liquor! Price is right, helpful staff. I've been riding my bike past this place for years and kind of wondered what the heck was a liquor store doing next to the Police Department, turns out they're selling them whiskey!”

“The store and the employees are great but ever since the gym went in, parking is impossible. Just spent nearly 20 minutes circling to find a spot and every spot in front of the store that became available was taken by someone going to the gym. The need to do something about this as I’m not doing this again”

“I’m so happy I walked into this wine shop after taking a class upstairs. Edith was immediately welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly and really gets to know your palate. We’ve been shopping w/ her for about a year, I love her texts to check in, wine tastings and upcoming classes. She always knows what you’ll like or she’ll look in her notes. The wines are low in sugar, some organic, small batch and delicious. My favorite part is the fantastic customer service. Check it out.”
“Liquor store does not describe what this place is at all. Hungry baba refers to the guy outside with the smoker full of meats letting people know there is dinner waiting for you here. Otherwise you'd not guess cause the writing painted on the store only mentioned "coke, Pepsi, hair weaves, wine, lotto".If you have $10 you can get enough for 2-3 people depending on how much you want to eat. Sauce is great. No sides, you gotta make those yourself. All in all, a local hood favorite. And of course they got separate areas for the pork so no worries if you don't eat pig.Get there earlier if the beef brisket is what you want, they sell out of it the most. I suggest the chicken. Smoked all day and dosed in sauce, on the obligatory pieces of plain white bread that is served with such things for whatever reason. To describe the flavor of the smoke penetrating the meat you should just go get you some, so it don't sound too graphic. Yes, you still can get your coke Pepsi hair weaves wine and everything else you need inside the store like shirts, insence, whatever. For those of us living in the food dessert, baba make us not go hungry.”

“I've generally had good experiences at ABC Wine & Liquors, a clean store with a nice selection. However, on New Year's Eve, I approached a register that had just been open, and the cashier abruptly told me, 'I'm not open,' followed by 'I didn't call you over.' This felt rude and unprofessional. When I tried to get back in line, the manager loudly announced to everyone that the register was shut due to too much cash in the drawer, instead of speaking to me directly. This could have been handled with more courtesy. Overall, it's a decent store, but this interaction left a negative impression.”

“It does smell kinda funky inside but this is my favorite liquor store. Reasonable prices and impeccable service. Owners and staff are all so sweet. Props to Jen and Justin.They give dog treats in the drive-thru and now my dog is a secondhand alcoholic. Only drawback is too many dog treats”

“I am 72 and I shop this store now its clean and when I ask an employee where something is they tell me but still hard to find, but when I ask Karen she will stop what she is doing and actually show me, she is very knowledgeable about where everything is and she is constantly working to improve our shopping experience, she is very kind and helpful and she goes out of her way to make my shopping easier,”

“This is a controversial store. Many locals love it for the cheap nic and snacks. Lots of accessories and smoke shop stuff. However, the owner does not adhere to ANY social norms. He is known to be very rude, insight violence, and he physically beat a female customer. I’ve seen an Icee thrown back in the store by a customer, I’ve seen him kick people out, he makes very socially inappropriate comments…mostly for shock value maybe? He has a mullet and is named Skylar, and he is part of the “family”. If you shop at this store, get ready for some drama. In July of 2024, someone spray painted The Owner Beats Women on the window.”
