This is a delayed review as I've had to sit on it for a LONG time before deciding to share or not. The owner, Joe, is a good person and trying to run a solid business. However, at heart, he is a salesman and will do what it takes to get the work and your car in his shop even if the project is beyond his level of experience/expertise. I know folks that are happy with his work and I know folks that aren't. Unfortunately, I fall in the latter category.I would trust Powertech to do basic bolt ons, short/quick projects, and potentially dyno use. The shop is a nice place and well kept. I would not trust Powertech for involved or longer projects.Rather than going into deep details, my high level experience is as follows:- I brought my C5 Z06 to PowerTech Performance in May 2017 for a failed motor replacement and to make the car Track ready as an HPDE toy.- The relationship started out great and Joe was easy to work with. Happy to research the build and options and get the parts ordered.- One characteristic of Powertech is that they do not like to mess with anyone else's work. So if they are fixing something, they want all new parts - otherwise they can't trust the work that was done. I was fine with this - everything they touched was replaced from engine to steering rack to bushings to ECU etc.- My estimated repair grew from a $25k fix to a $45k fix.- My simple engine swap turned into a new motor, dry sump oil system, clutch, transmission rebuild, rear end reseal, etc. etc. (single receipt with 40k on it).- My project was "completed" on March 2018 but immediately had to come back after leaking oil all over my garage floor - so a 10 month project.- Motor failed at first event due to oil pulley not being secured (missing key).- Powertech replaced my motor free of charge with another new crate LS3 - took a lot of back and forth and stress - but they owned up to the poor work done.- Motor 2 work started in April 2018 and was completed October 2018 - 5 months to swap the motor.- Motor 2 FAILED after 4 events due to the dry sump plumbing not being done properly (didn't block off the OEM pump passageway despite the OEM pump no longer existing - envision oil freely dumping back into the pan vs. being forced into the cylinders).- Powertech was not interested in the car or me any longer and I had to seek out a new shop to do the work. I also no longer trusted the shop and their ability to do the work.- New shop confirmed failure was due to the improperly plumbed dry sump system causing oil starvation and burning a bearing.So, in summary - Powertech took about 1.5 years to 'fix' my car but the car ended up in the exact same condition as it started - blown motor and inoperable. However, my bank account was significantly lighter and marriage significantly strained. I understand Powertech also lost on the project having to buy a 2nd motor (thank you) but still was doing a project they didn't know how to do properly and shouldn't have been doing.

Joe and his crew installed American racing long tube headers on my 2018 Sierra Denali. The whole crew was very professional and did an amazing job. Love the truck even more, thanks guys!!!!

Words cannot describe the level of service at Power Tech. I had Joe put an new harmonic balancer on my 02 C5, and after looking at my car, diagnosed a multitude of other problems. I had been turned away from multiple other shops of the area, and Joe went above and beyond, pricing was fair and communication was wonderful.

Nothing less than the best vette builders in Florida. They basically built my 2004 C5 to be a fun daily driver with 629 rwhp. Joe is the best owner I have ever dealt with for building a car. His staff is friend and professional. I wouldn’t even attempt to go anywhere else.

Powertech Performance is by far the best shop to trust, if you are looking for absolute corvette wizards then these are the guys!! Joe and Powertech are the only ones that will ever do any work on my 19 Zo6. They are the best and it's not even close!!!

Staff is very professional and knowledgeable. They tell it to you straight. They do great work. They tuned my truck after swapping the cam and doing a bunch of work. Tune was done well and truck runs amazing! This is the place to go if you want it done right.

Took my c6 z06 in to get a twin disk clutch and supporting mods installed. Also wanted a retune to fix drivability issues from a previous shops tune. They got the clutch and torque tube rebuild nocked out quick and got the car dialed in with a new tune. It starts better, drives better, and made more hp/torque across the board from just a tune. I highly reccomend this shop for any upgrades or maintenance needs. I never realized how bad my car drove/ran until after the first ride after my retune.

I dont leave reviews often, but Powertech was hands down one of the most professional shops I have been in. Joe and the guys make you feel right at home and do fantastic work. Stayed a bit late to ensure the car was in tip top shape before I took it home. They installed an MSD ported intake manifold, ported TB, and a bigger cold air intake as well a tuned the car on E85. The car feels amazing and I couldn't be happier.

Just recently had some mods put on my C6. Lets start off by saying the customer service is excellent and they are fast, efficient and knowledgeable. With my experience with Joe, he seems to really know what he is talking about and will explain in detail if you have any questions. I like the fact that this company doesn’t try to up sale the customers and will give you honest opinions on the products you may have purchased prior. Would recommend 100%. Yes I’m real and no I’m not a robot.
