It wasn't more than a year ago that Spectrum raised my rates to $5.00. The bill I received yesterday raised my rate by $10.00. Now it has a monopoly. There aren't competitive choices. Can't that government do something about this?

What they don’t tell you when you sign up for their services is that your bill will go up every year, regardless. Mine went from $45 to $80 in 2 years for BASIC WIFI, no cable. Nothing special. On top of being overpriced, there are constant, random service outages for hours at a time. This happens almost weekly at this point.

Beware of Spectrum's fraudulent charges SCAM!Spectrum admitted I shouldn't have been charged an additional $25 fee, but since I hadn't noticed it for over 90 days, and continued to pay my regular amount, they could not remove the $25 fee, but could remove 1, $8 late fee associated with that fake $25 fee. I can't wait for Frontier to be in my neighborhood, so I can be done with Spectrum, who is not only a scamming company, fleecing their customers with fraudulent fees, but they also have the WORST customer service I have ever experiences.

I had an interview here and everything was going great until I was having trouble with a question and apologized and explained that due to having severe autism, I have trouble understanding certain questions. After I stated I had autism, Ariel, the recruiter's, whole demeanor changed and he ended interview pre-maturely and stated I wouldn't be a good fit. I've never felt so disrespected and discriminated against in my life. I can't control how I was born, so it's kinda sad that they're not autistic friendly. Terrible company and beware of the discrimination.

Hello, Spectrum has stolen my money and the store representative Angel cannot do anything. Ive requested to speak to the store manager but he is never (from what I see) at the store and he is never calling to the number that I have left

Spectrum makes it a practice to sign their users up for features and services without their knowledge when they sign up for automatic bill pay. They also hide charges under unassuming labels so you need to dig into them to figure out what they are. Unsurprisingly they also have a 30-day max money back program, so if you miss one of the surprise charges they throw at you for more than 30 days they refuse to refund you.Personally, when signing up I stated multiple times very clearly that I was only interested in the basic internet service. No TV, No Mobile, No extra speeds. This was repeated back to me. Upon my first bill I was charged a "one time fee" I assumed was a start up fee. Now 2 months in I realize this is a reoccurring Spectrum TV charge. I called to get this removed from my bill, they agreed to remove it from my statement. AND THEN THEY STILL CHARGED ME. It's not a ton of money but the fact I knew this was a risk, was so diligent in making sure it didn't happen and I still got scammed. Luckily I caught this after two months but a friend of mine had this going on for over a year, and so many people I know have similar stories. Clearly there are issues if this is what Spectrum is resorting to in order to make money.There are better options.

Paid full amount due in my account 3 days ago and account is showing unpaid. Customer service zero help won’t guarantee my service won’t be shut off before resolved without payment that already told multiple times was paid in full not repaying and won’t provide an email to send proof from my bank that it was processed. Says a ticket needs to be open.

Terrible. They somehow monopolize entire areas, preventing their superior competition from even being a choice. Their overpriced and rarely... *rarely*... deliver the speed you're paying for. Yet another example of greed and corruption creating a worse experience for the general population.

Internet is trash, equipment is outdated, you share broadband with the neighbors and sometimes it barely works if two people in the house are using it. Fios is installing fiber in our area and we can’t wait to switch. I used to love Bright House but since Spectrum took over it’s gone down hill significantly. If you have a choice between Fios and Spectrum take Fios all day for internet.
