Dollar General Steinhatchee is a store offering everyday essentials at affordable prices. It serves as the main grocery and go-to store for the town, especially since last year's hurricane. The location is not very big but carries a lot of stuff, with about half the store dedicated to groceries. It sells food, produce, alcohol, tobacco, and household items. While prices are noted as better than a nearby store, some produce quality can be poor and staffing can be low during busy scallop season. Customers can save more with the myDG program.
All the girls at the Steinhatchee Dollar General are so nice & helpful. One in particular goes above and beyond to be helpful, Ashley. Dollar General is very fortunate to have such an employee.

The store is not real big but they did have a lot of stuff. Everything I want in there to find they had. About half the store is a grocery store.

They have EVERYTHING. This is the ‘grocery store’ and ‘go to’ store of the town since the hurricane wipeout last year taking out a lot of local convenience stores. It’s impressive what they have here.
