Vinny is an amazing instructor. I had never shot a gun or held a gun before. Vinny is patient and extremely professional. After moving to FL I decided to get my concealed carry license. After doing some research I came across Vinny's site. As a form police officer Vinny was able to provide his first hand knowledge to real life possible situations. Vinny goes step by step at your speed and will make you comfortable through the learning process so you become confident in the skills he teaches. After taking the concealed carry course Vinny set up time with me to test several different guns to see which gun would fit my needs for conceal carry. Vinny was able to provide insight on how I was handing the gun and ask the right questions to ensure I purchased a gun that felt comfortable in my hands and easy to shoot. I recently took the Art Of The Draw course. I highly recommend this course. This course is a great course to put into perspective how possible real live situations could play out and how I would handle a my gun in those situations. Vinny goes step by step on how draw of your gun and how your body and arms should be to ensure your safety during any situation. Great repetitive drills makes you more proficient in the Art of the Draw skills.Vinny listens to all your questions and answers them no matter how silly one might think they are as a new gun owner/handler. Vinny has provides his honest professional option on all types of gun options. He makes himself available to answer any questions or concerns after class. Give Vinny a call if you are looking to take lessons as a first time gun handlers/owner or even need a refresher. You will not be disappointed!

Vinny is amazing. My husband and I have taken several classes from Vinny Onorato up and through advanced training. We also took his concealed class. I would recommend anyone who needs firearms instruction to call Vinny. I have had several other instructors, but I learned so much more by taking his classes. As a former cop, he brings more knowledge than my other instructors.I can understand when someone new is a little nervous about handling a gun for the first time, but Vinny is very professional and makes shooting fun.

My husband and I had an excellent experience with Vinny at Break Leather. I signed us up for a basic gun safety class. I have ZERO experience with guns and I was very nervous to shoot a handgun. Vinny was amazing. We were very confident in his expert knowledge. He is a very patient and professional instructor. His lecture portion of the class kept our attention, he is very easy to listen to. And was very helpful and patient with me as I have limited mobility in my hands. Due to my hand issues, I was unable to properly load the gun provided and Vinny took time after class to show me a gun that is much easier to load. We highly recommend Vinny and will be using his services again in the future. Thank you Vinny!

Outstanding. Vincent is an amazing talent able to teach firearm basics through expert self-defense carry proficiency. His approach and materials are extremely clear, well organized and credible - he's lived it, knows his stuff and will go out of his way to get you to whatever level you desire. For me, he's provided one of the best returns on my time and money I've realized in a long time.

Break Leather really lives up to its 5 star reputation. I have taken two classes with Vince, both were specifically tailored to my needs and level. The first time, I was a complete novice. The material and instruction was made accessible all the while remaining very thorough and Vince drew on his extensive law enforcement background to bring real world applications and situations to the material we were covering. At the end of the first class, I felt well prepared for my first time at the range which was a lot of fun. The class had given me the confidence to enjoy target shooting all the while handling a firearm in a responsible manner. I enjoyed it so much that I returned the following month for a CCW class with an even more extensive time at the range. In addition to target shooting, defensive shooting methods were covered and practiced. Another great time. I highly recommend Vince’s classes. Not only are they fun but extremely thorough, adapted to one’s level and pace. I will be returning for further classes.

I came into the class not knowing really anything about firearms,The class instructor Vincet was wonderful! He took his time explaining what needed and was very informative It was really a great learning experience! Anyone who needs any type of fire arms class go see him ! I had an awesome time at Break Leather with Vince, getting my training for my concealed weapons permit! My boyfriend and I went together, and I had little experience with handguns. I felt very comfortable and safe. The class was informative and he made it fun! I would highly recommend Break Leather to both novice and experienced shooters. Will definitely be headed back for more practice in the range!

I highly recommend Break Leather's classes. I did the concealed carry class with Vinny. He's a great teacher, very engaging and flexible based on the class size and needs. Covers all the relevant content and then more practical stuff that you may not get in other classes and may not think of in the heat of a self defensive situation. He also does some armory work if you need work done on your guns. An overall good dude and good person to take your training and armory business too.

I took the Full-Day Advanced Handgun Training Class and couldn't be happier. The skills I learned apply directly to real life, giving me the comfort and confidence I was looking for. He is very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend his training to anyone interested. I will be going back for private training to advance my skill set.
