First time here at this facility, I brought my son as a guest per usual every time I work out. They made me walk all the way back to the car to get my ID so they can hold on to my ID just for having him with me since he’s 16. No other facility has ever done this. NONE!!! They always allow him to sign the e-waiver and my membership validated who I am. I thought this was so unfair and unnecessary. Planet fitness has never gave me this much trouble and they’re cheaper with less hassle.

The WORST experience i have had at a gym to date!
I will start by saying when I joined i was very excited to work out and get back into shape.
My 1st visit was so uncomfortable. They tried pushing a personal training session on me. I declined. They harrassed me my whole session and said i was "CRAZY" for not wanting their guidence. it was absolutely embarrasing. i didnt return for a few months... because thats when the calls and texts finally stopped, again trying to push their "free" sessions.
My 2nd visit... I couldnt even scan my card to check in before the same guy recignized me and continued trying to push his services. i declined again and he kept pushing until I finally left. Without working out mind you.
Fast forward to today... I walked in to cancel as i would be switching gyms. I told them I was leaving due to lack of use. Silainy Fernandez was the person that was "helping" me. she said i would need to pay in order to cancel. I told her that should be waived as i have only checked in once. She said "nope". so i asked her to check with her manager and her response was "i am the GM". so i asked again to please waive the fee. she declined. as i was discussing with her my displeasure, still calm and polite, a 2nd young lady (Kelly Barrera) decided to interrupt and say if i didnt leave she was calling the Cops. I smiled and said please do. At that point the "GM" looked nervous as clearly I was calm and not being rude.
I asked how they could take my fee for the month of December without allowing me to use the membership for the duration and she finally said "oh, you can". i said why didnt you explain that. that would be fine.
As i go to my car i was stopped by a stuart police officer. they said a call was placed about me. when i told him the situation (my wife was present and told him the same story i layed out here) he laughed... said "please when you complain to corporate let them know we were called to the scene for this". i guess the stuart PD is getting tired of these nonsense calls as well.
STAY AWAY!!! its filthy, they are untrained in customer service, extremely rude and unprofessional!!

Wow walked in here looking for a membership and let's just say how judgmental these people were. Very rude and nasty I will never be back here and I would advise everyone to stay away from this location! Specifically Silainy Fernandez and Kelly Barrera!

The gym itself is great. It is nice, clean, new, and has basically everything we need. Generally speaking the staff are welcoming.Back in July, my husband spent some $62 dollars on a personalized training session which was cancelled twice on Crunch’s behalf. He was promised a refund by the staff. Since that date, we have been told conflicting information regarding the refund, applicable ways to apply the money (such as a credit to our account), flat out told no to the above by Nate, and told the credit is only for PT.After four months of repeatedly coming in to check on the refund and being told conflicting information, we have a built up quite a bit of frustration. In trying to seek resolution, the staff has made it incredibly difficult to file a complaint, and I’ve had to pry for any sort of email or phone number. Finally, I was given a personal gmail account for the manager, which I find preposterous and unprofessional for such a corporate and well known establishment. As much as we do like this gym, and we do really enjoy it, this whole situation has made me grown quiet resentful and have made me consider other gyms in the area.

Promised $20 per person you sign up. I signed up two people. Over 6 months later and 8 talks with the people at the front desk in a revolving door of getting nowhere, no $40 that the gym owes me. Straight scam. Good gym otherwise if you don’t mind overcrowded high school type feels.

I’ve been going to Crunch around three years but I took a break and decided to come back recently. I’m so glad I did because I’m at the best worker. Her name is Kelly and I was greeted by her at the front desk. She gave me a tour answered an all my questions. Definitely gonna come bring my friends and come back again plus the facility is awesome and very clean.

SCAM!!! My son joined at the beginning of September when he moved to FL, he cancelled in October because he was going back to our home state. I was charged multiple times in the same week. I called to resolve the issue and the staff was rude and treated me like I was stupid and don't know how gym memberships work. I tried to speak to the manager that told me he never cancelled (when I know he did) and that there was nothing they would do. I asked why i was charged so much and they said annual fee ok well he was charged in September when he signed up the manager said that he was not and I said its on my bank statement and I can prove it. She continued an attitude and when I ask for corporates number she said no. I then asked for her name and she hung up on me. I called back several times and they refuse to answer the phone. Because I was annoying them a gentleman answered and said we wont speak to you. This gym is clearly run by young people who don't know what customer service is. I am an adult who has my own gym membership at a respectful gym who would never treat there members like this. I have had to dispute all charges and hope I get my money back. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The owners need to evaluate their staffing choices. Robbing young kids is not ok. If this is how this gym is run i would advise all parents to send their children somewhere else.

Beware getting a membership here! The last thing you should do is sign a contract with them. They operate by corporate policies and will charge you as much as they possibly can. Aside from your monthly payments they charge an annual fee of over fifty dollars. Please do not support this corporate gym when there are plenty of small family owned businesses that work with their customers and provide proper customer service. I have switched to Powerhouse gym, who actually have customer values and even offer free child care with your membership. Crunch is very unaccommodating and are only in the business of money, not fitness.

I’ve been impressed with the size, quality, and quantity of equipment. Bright lighting makes the gym inviting. Good knowledgeable staff answered my questions when signing up.

I love Crunch. It been the the best experience I have had at a gym by far. This one is usually quite clean and staff are friendly. There are a lot of separate offerings besides just the gym membership. The environment is generally busy and everyone is focused on their work outs so it doesn’t take much time to wait on a machine if it’s a busy time of day. I love Michelle, one of their trainers I personally worked with on my own fitness goals. She’s the best! Quite a worthwhile investment if you can take the time and create consistency in your routine.

Nice Gym nice facility that’s the reason for the two stars however, hot water is constantly out at least 2 to 3 times a week but the dealbreaker for me was I was having trouble with my card on file so I was paying my membership in advance sometimes up to two weeks in advance so it did surprise me with my payment was due on the 26 of September. I was attempting to work out on the 27 of September I was told I would have to come current before I could come back I’m 58 years of age I’ve been going to Jim’s for over 35 years. I have never had a Gym denying me access or being late up to a week so you can imagine my surprise and shock when I was told this!Me being who I am I promptly inform management that I will be canceling my gym membership and joined powerhouse gym not more than a block away and to my surprise is $10 cheaper and they have access to a steam room as well as a dry sauna so it actually worked out to my benefit Thank you crunch but no thank you for your elitist attitudePeople need to realize that customers have options

This place push you to have a personal trainer even if you don’t want or asked for one. It’s like 10 kids standing near the front desk and pushing you to have one. And even if you don’t need one they will charge your card automatically 10$ extra for a personal trained fee. It’s ridiculous!
