I recently moved to Florida from DC. I was searching on Yelp for a veterinarian for my dogs. This is how I discovered Boulevard Animal Hospital. I live a bit of a distance from here, but I was impressed with the reviews. Also, the fact that this is a small owner operation is a big plus. Just as I expected, on my first visit, the staff were very courteous, polite and helpful. The office is extremely health and safety conscious and they were taking maximum precautions for Covid19. My appointment was for 10:30 AM. They took my dog in at 10:30 promptly. Dr. Stan Hopek examined my dog and was done about 11:00 AM. He spent the next 15 minutes to discuss the prognosis and the options. He took the time to make sure that I understood exactly what was going on. More impressively, he made a very honest recommendation for the best course of treatment. I say impressive, because he did not recommend the most expensive course of treatment. And he did not recommend a cocktail of drugs. This is the difference between a 30 year veteran doctor and the big veterinary hospitals full of vet school graduates who are basically drug pushers for their boss just to pay their overheads (at the cost of our pets). I'm very thankful to God that I discovered Boulevard Animal Hospital. Finding a good honest veterinarian is like finding a good honest auto repair shop. This is the real deal.

Very nice doctor. He spent a lot of time with us, being new to the area, told us the particulars of Florida pet ownership and what to watch out for. Everyone in the office was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this office!

Dr. Hopek is an extraordinarily knowledgeable veterinarian who truly cares about the animals he treats. I have had a great experience with this office, the staff is friendly and professional and I know my dog Penny is in loving hands when I take her here. I am a first time dog owner so I can be nervous about Penny's care but Dr. Hopek is always available to answer any of my questions or concerns. He fixed Penny in April and she has healed perfectly, thank you Boulevard Animal Hospital!

In over 40 yrs of pet ownership, Boulevard Animal Hospital, Dr. Stan, Dr. Sharon, and the very skilled Vet Tech's are the absolute finest professionals I have ever encountered. Cornell University Vet School trained with decades of experience, you just can't find a better place to take your beloved pets. Knowledgable, kind, skilled, and 100% focused on doing the best for your pet. I have complete trust in their care.

Just checked out this animal hospital to see how Dr. Hopek was doing and have to add that he is a fantastic vet! I live in Rockland County NY and he was our vet when he lived here. Such a nice guy! Our poodle loved him! He is a very kind and compassionate man. I will never forget him and I was sorry to see him leave NY but I'm happy he is doing well. I wish he were still in NY.
