My wife would likely disagree with the five stars due to the smell in the Nature Trail, but I thought it was a fun experience.Great access to animals of all kinds. Really interesting exhibits in the park.In my opinion, the VERY SMELLY Nature Trail is a 3/4-mile walk through an actual marsh. The methane gases due to decomposing detritus (and who knows what else) are REALLY strong, but it was lots of fun.

This is an excellent way to learn about Florida's coast and the animals that live there. The exhibits are well set out, have great visuals, and are right up to date. The staff are enthusiastic, helpful and friendly. The talks about the rays and the turtles should not be missed.

We are a family of seven and we booked a private tour on the day the center was closed. What a great time we had getting to feed the rays and the fish. It is a much bigger place than you realize and you could easily go back and do other things that you didn't get to on the tour so take advantage of the membership they give you with the tour.

This is a really great place to visit, whether you're a tourist or a local. You can learn a lot about several animals. We especially enjoyed the stingrays. There was a touch tank and the staff gave us a very educational class on stingrays. How cool is it that they can sense electricity? We also like the principles this place operates under, specifically that the animals are not captive. Captive. Are being nursed back to health. The tank in the open air is huge and gives them plenty of room to swim and it's really cool how you can read the cards on the rail to identify the fish. You should definitely take an afternoon and go here. Plan on three to four hours. It's hot, though so bring plenty of ice water.

This is a very educational spot to spend some outdoor time. Really big lagoon with rays, fish, and turtles all swimming about. There's plenty of educational placards and displays as well as different talks given. Take a walk on the nature trail through the mangroves (best enjoyed after liberal application of DEET) and see their oyster reclamation project. A big plus is that active duty military and veterans get in free.

Really for children . We went 2 seniors and while it was nice we’d never do it again because it is for young children. Place is gorgeous in the pavilion. So clean and few children were we wound up.
Beautiful gift shop full of families and children crying a LOT because they want everything.
Staff super nice. We paid under $17 each and felt it was a donation. Didn’t really get anything out of it.

Very cool place to bring the kids who loved it! Even the adults really enjoyed too.. the place has lots of cool info and things to see but the best was touching and feeding the sting rays. They also have a nature trail and the staff was all super informative and kind. Would definetely recommend going! Their gift shop on the way out is nice too with cute and unique aquatic gifts and trinkets.

Interesting small place. The trails were close more than an hour before not to inconvenience the staff, but the price was the same. Children will have a good time here, adults not so much!

This is a nice little activity for your beach vacation. It's small, so really only need and hour or 2 to get through it. More if you want to read all the fun educational info they have to offer. Mike was amazing and went out of his way to teach our kids soooo many fun facts about the local wildlife.

We loving visiting the Oceanographic Coastal Center and feeding the stingrays. Great for kids and a great picnic spot on the third floor overlooking the lagoon.

Who knew this was around here. I sure did not and lived in Florida for 20 years. The kids loved this place. Lots of touch tanks, fish galore and very educational. I could not believe how big it was, and how nice the people are here. Would come back again when in Florida. This place is clean and allows you to bring food in. Take your family on a picnic and enjoy the fishies.

We are annual members. Their summer camps are awesome and we've done birthday parties too. Also they have a stunning event space on the third floor.

This is an awesome place! I visited here with my sister and her family and I was so impressed! There is a nature trail, full of beautiful plant life, a butterfly garden, there is a large lagoon that houses large rescued turtles, sharks, as well as a variety of fish, and sting rays. We also checked out an interesting exhibit that showed many different aspects of Florida marine life, and the issues it faces such as pollution, and turtles face from boat injuries. There is a touch tank full of different species, and we finished the trip with touching some string rays and feeding them.Love this place and their work! They do so much to help the area, I love to see it, worth a visit!
