My wife got an electric kia ev6 car from this location infested with roaches we would have returned it but unfortunately we where stuck in orlando over the weekend all they said was its common with electric cars but i dout it wont be coming back to this place.

They just charge me a giant late fee and overcharge me by another $200 because they could not find a vehicle that was properly returned on time and now they will not return any phone calls. I have done business with this location multiple times and they are absolutely terrible. You tried to call and it’s nothing but automated messages. The local number does not work either.

My husband and I reserved a vehicle at this hertz location, as we arrived we were greeted by an employee texting on her phone, and seemed irritated that we were even there. My husband had questions about his reservation and of course no one was willing to help. A manager came out to us and started to instantly get hostile with us and her tone was angry and loud. She was extremely unprofessional, she said she couldn’t help us because she was so busy this morning, meanwhile there wasn't another customer in sight and everyone was on their cell phones texting. We left because of lack of help but when my husband went back inside to ask the name of the manager she threatened to call the police on my husband?? He wasn’t yelling or being unreasonable, or disrespectful at all?. He was calmly asking questions? The manager also told us to just go to enterprise, haha there competition? The whole situation was honestly scary from the moment the manager got hostile with us for just asking for clarification. We will definitely never return but this corporation needs to be aware of what is going on in this place. They do have cameras and someone higher up needs to watch what happened today and watch all the employees texting while customers need assistance.
But anyways, someone needs to look into this place and how customers are treated.
HUGE shoutout to enterprise for helping us today, when we really needed a rental. They are incredible and it was an easy transition.
To the women who continuously yelled and degraded my husband, and I - I hope you find help and I hope you are blessed one day.

Absolutely unacceptable experience — I wish I could give zero stars
I recently rented a car from Hertz in Stuart, FL and had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered. Shortly after picking up the vehicle and driving hours away to Daytona, we discovered the backseat was infested with ants — biting us and getting into our belongings. We immediately called the Stuart location and were told to go to the nearest Hertz, but it was closed. We had no choice but to continue driving to the location at the Daytona Airport.
Once there, we explained the situation and were met with complete indifference. The employee’s response? “At least you don’t have an ant phobia.” That level of dismissiveness was not only unprofessional but also incredibly insensitive. What if someone in our group did have a phobia — or an allergy? When I asked what they were going to do about the ant issue, I was told to take it up with the Stuart location.
To make matters worse, we were told we’d be charged $10.99 per gallon because the tank was slightly under full — after driving hours in a car that was unfit for use. So we had to get back into the ant-infested vehicle just to fill it up and return again. Absolutely absurd.
When we returned to the Stuart location today to try to resolve the issue, we were told there was no one available to help — and that the only person who could address the problem would not be back for over a week and a half. She wasn’t even there when we picked the car up. When we asked who we could speak to in the meantime, we were handed an 800 number. That was it.
The replacement car we received had electrical issues — the radio kept cutting out — and both vehicles had dead bugs on the inside headliner. Neither car looked or smelled clean. It’s very clear Hertz does not maintain or sanitize their vehicles properly.
This entire experience was unprofessional, unsanitary, and downright dangerous. If I had my young kids with me during this trip, and they were bitten by ants, the situation could have escalated to a medical emergency. I will never rent from Hertz again — and I strongly advise others to do the same. A company this size should have systems in place to address vehicle sanitation and emergency customer service issues. Clearly, they do not.

The Hertz team at Stuart is highly professional and extremely efficient. The gentleman that helped me today has helped me in the past very personable knowledgeable take care of business Gets you on your way?

Very poor customer service. The manager Jennifer threatened me and called the police and said I was yelling at her, when she was yelling at me. I'm to be banned, a trespassing order issued and I only came in to question the fraudulent charge on my credit card. She threw her hand at me and ordered me out of their office, like I was a child. In addition, I returned the rental on time and was charged an extra day.
Hertz refunded me the extra day, but fell to mentioned the defamation of character their employee placed on me by calling 911 when I told her she was lying about telling me, she informed me of a cancelation charge. The refund from Hertz customer service says it's for an additional day of rental. Beware, and watch out for extra charges you may be billed. Oh! The charges that were question was applied on my 2nd day of rental, I had the rental 10 days and never received a final. 5/12/25 -5/21/25. I went to the office on 5/28/25.

I RESERVED A CAR ONLINE WITH A CREDIT CARD...I ASSUMED A CAR WOULD BE AVAILABLE AFTER AFTER DOING SO. SO I PAYED UBER TO TAKE ME THERE AND WHEN I ARRIVED THEY SAY NO VEHICLES ARE AVAILABLE...WHY CANT THEY INFORM SUCH WHEN RESERVING.... SO IM STUCK MILES FROM HOME WITH NO RIDE...NATURALLY ANYONE WOULD BE UPSET...NEVER RAISED MY VOICE.... SHE SAID I HAVE A BAD ATTITUDE AND SAID THAT SHE WOULD NEVER RENT TO ME. I DONT HAVE A BAD ATTITUDE SHE JUST HAS A PROBLEM WITH MY ATTITUDE AND THATS NOT MY PROBLEM...POOR POOR POOR SYSTEM BY HERTZ !!!

Wow! Manager Actually said “we aren’t interested in your business” manager was rude and assistant moved like a snail. If you are Iooking for customer service you will not find it here.
I never spoke coarse or gave reason for their behavior.
I went across the street and enterprise had me in a vehicle in under 10 minutes

If you are renting the Tesla 3, please don’t think it’s the same as owning one. First the charge is standard so I did have to charge more than usual. Secondly, and oddly, the mats in the car were not there and I thought that to be weird so it made the car so uncomfortable. Third, the car made a weird whistling noise throughout the ride it was the most annoying. If you are a Tesla owner the profile will transfer so that is cool, but if the car doesn’t have connectivity premium then you can’t use the features that make a Tesla fun. So, I will go back to driving my car because renting a Tesla is not the same experience as having one. Maybe that is why they didn’t do so well. At Hertz, you should buy premium connectivity it’s 99$ a year and it’s worth it for traveling and entertainment.
