Service seemed very sales pitchy and seemed like there were a bunch of things added in at checkout that were not fully explained beforehand. Was also told I couldn’t use the tap feature on my card which would have been nice to know 2 months ago when I originally reserved this car. Also was told as I’m picking it up that I cannot return on Sunday (should have said that when I selected Sunday online) and that on Saturday they were gonna close at 12 so basically I was forced to keep the car through the weekend which is something else that was never explained… deff didn’t like the vibe from this place and seems they make sure you can’t rent their cars

All though they have the best price. Dirty car and they charge me $9.99 for processing a toll fee there is No people at the toll booths anymore.?

Rented a car one way to PBI and was in a bit of a rush to return my other car. Noticed a couple miles away that the fuel gauge was only 1/4 and thought that was strange. Didn't think anything of it and I put some fuel in. Then I saw the key fob had 100% fuel on it, meaning the checkout guy said it was full. It was not. See photos for proof with the mileage showing. So when I returned the car I got hit with a $70 charge despite putting more fuel in than when I got it. Been trying for a couple days to get in touch with a live person but it's impossible. I want a refund for the fuel charge as I put in more than I had when I got it. Buyer beware to check the fuel matches the key!

I came in for a vacation and the service I got from this location was horrible- was told I had to wait because the one person could not help as he did not have access and the other gentleman was on the phone- when I did get service things were not fully explained- they were not friendly at all. there was a HUGE hold on my credit card that they use for a "security" deposit but that is not written in my agreement. I even doubled checked. If I did not need a car I would not have rented the car I would have walked out and asked for a refund. If this is how Hertz prides themselves I would NOT recommend them! I will NOT being returning! this is horrible businesss

very bad service already with your reservation of your car. I went 40 minutes by Uber to pick up my reserved car. and it turns out that there are no cars. The manager is arrogant with no solution to a problem. so much so that she kicked me out of the room. What would be the solution to this problem is simple. if the system says that there is an existing reservation and THERE ARE NO CARS. Call the client so that both of you don't waste your time. The workers are sitting in front of the computer. without doing anything.

They didn't have the car that I rented, it had a check engine light, which was a guaranteed model, but they located one at PBI. And since I was driving by there it all worked out. They were very apologetic and did the best they could. Customer service was amazing, which is why I continue to rent with Hertz.

I only gave Hertz a 1 rating since a 0 was not allowed. This was the third time this year I had an issue renting through Hertz. This time was by far the worst and as a result the last time I EVER use Hertz to rent a car from them. They treat you in way that gave me the feeling they really did not care about my issue and what took place. Honestly, the gentleman made me feel like, whatever. Not my problem so no reason to care. The vehicle I had initially rented was an electric vehicle but due to them not having a vehicle properly charged I was stuck with getting a minivan, that had the smell of smoke throughout the time we had it and there were ants in the back of the minivan. I thought they were doing is a favor by giving us the minivan since they had no other cars to rent.However, what I came to realize was they were only doing themselves a favor by dumping the minivan on me and my family, thus getting us out of the way of being a problem.I worked for a Fortune 500 company for 40+ years in a management position. I taught all employees as I was taught from the first day I worked there that the customer was ALWAYS right and to do whatever it took to ensure each one was satisfied with the product and service received from our company!!!.Hertz employees could learn a thing or two about that philosophy when it comes to caring for their customers!!!

I made a reservation Monday morning for a car rental Wednesday afternoon. I called Wednesday afternoon and they said that they had no cars available and to call back later. When I asked what the purpose of the reservation was. The person got angry and hung up on me. So I drove to the location and there were at least five cars there. I went inside and immediately told they had a car available. The individual I spoke with on the phone became extremely upset. He proceeded to threaten me with bodily harm going so far to tell me he knew my address. The manager came out and gave me keys to a car. While they were doing paperwork he came back out to tell me he spoke with HR and they would not be renting me car. The individual who threatened me name is John. This is a service industry organization and conduct themselves in this type of manner. I cannot stress enough to use another car rental agency!!!!!!!

Really tough to deal with a place whose computers have been down 3 out of the last 4 times I've been in Stuart. Get your car at the airport and avoid this location at all costs

Made reservations and wasn’t able to get car due to hidden policies that I wasn’t made aware of UNTIL I went to pick up rental car. Thank goodness Enterprise got me a rental and I was able to make my class in Tallahassee (mandatory weekend). Just go to enterprise! They make the process so easy and they have exceptional customer service!

The car wasn’t ready when I first arrived at noon, but when I returned about 45 minutes later, it was ready. Everything from there on went well. I had the car for ten days, unlimited mileage. It was clean and ran good and was good on gas. Return was easy, it had a half tank of gas just it had when I got it. No extra charges were added , they printed a receipt which outlined the charges and the beginning and ending odometer readings. Everybody was pleasant and I will definitely go there again if I should need to rent a car while in town.

Upon entering the branch for my rental pick up, there was nobody at the front desk. After calling for help and waiting in the waiting from for 10 minutes, a rep finally came out to help me. I was incredibly irate with how nonchalant the rep was at the front desk. There was no regard for my time. I made a comment that I had been waiting and was very unhappy. The rep threw a pair of keys at me and said the car was in front. Later that day, the car broke down with a flat tire. I believe the rep gave me a malfunctioning vehicle. I use hertz a the time for work and will never use hertz again after this experience. For business, I have many choices for rental companies. I was appalled that the rep didn't even apologize, there was NO regard for my time, and I was given a malfunctioning vehicle. The rep never did a walk thru, but forced keys into my face. I am disgusted with the lack of customer service and treatment I received…

Totally unprofessional, and then when I call them to extend my rental they would not answer the phone. Finally got through twice and both times They just said thank you for calling hearts. We need to put you on an extended hold. 20 minutes later they pick up and hang up. I spent almost two hours trying to get a hold of somebody to have a forty five second conversation. Don't waste your time They will make you feel like your inconvenience in them.
