John was extremely helpful, he brought our ideas for our wedding bands to life with a 3d printed model before making the real thing. Communication was good and the rings were done quick. Will definitely go here again

Let me start by saying that John is a very nice guy. He is attentive, kind, and does make an effort to listen to your wishes. I think he makes fine jewelry in his own style; however, if you are seeking a custom ring with anything beyond the normal (pointed prongs, unique setting), I would advise you check out other places.My fiancé took our diamonds to John Charles who walked us through a customization process. We wanted a 3 stone, trellis setting. John assured us the timeline and design was no problem at all and did communicate with us during the entire process. Once my fiancé got the ring back we immediately noticed issues. Primarily an entire prong on the trellis was broken, stones were loose, prongs were not touching, and many thin sections from improper setting which made the rings structural integrity bad (see pictures). John of course took the ring back to repair. On top of the actual issues with the setting the ring size was entirely too large. When we went back the second time, we walked through all the issues with John, who again was very kind and listened, we emphasized that the ring needed to be resized and even used his ring sizer to get the right size. 2 whole months later we finally have the ring back in possession. It is the same size it was when we took it in, literally not changed at all. While this time there are no loose stones there are still prongs which do not touch the ring. I want to emphasize that John is a great person, who I am sure is great with traditional settings but if you are looking for something custom, make sure you know what you’re looking for and be prepared to be patient and double check every step of the way.

Great experience at John Charles Jewelers today, I needed 3 rings resized and a pendant fixed. I was in and out in about 20 min!!!! Constantly checking to make sure the fit would be good for each ring and cleaned and polished everything!!!Beautiful work!!

Words can’t describe how much I’m satisfied. I’ve visited many jewelers in PBG and Stuart but no one could beat John’s price and quality. That’s the only jeweler that didn't sell me a story and tried to drain all the money out of my bank. He is an experienced jeweler and professionally answered all my stupid questions. He made sure that I’m happy with the ring and everything was so quick! If you are not John’s client yet then I don’t know what are you waiting for? I will recommend him to everyone I know. THIS GUY KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK!My wife dropped off her family heirloom for me to have a necklace made for my birthday. She told J to do whatever he thinks I would like and I LIKE.It took some time to source the right necklace and I understood his hands were tied as far as availability and a third party involved, He was transparent from the get go. Being from the service industry I know the importance of customer satisfaction and dealing with unrealistic expectations. He did the best he could and made it happen. STOKED. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Just got engaged this past weekend to The most amazing woman I have ever met!!! (Besides my mother).The most important part about this engagement was making sure that the ring was perfect for her. Throughout this entire process **** Charles has just been amazing from taking in the initial information to creating 3D CAD designs in the computer to then printing those 3D CAD designs and wax molds so that I could see and feel in touch what this ring would look like. Then to go to casting and porting and polishing and setting the stone for the finished product. This whole process was amazing in the creation and the patience, the time, the understanding and professionalism that he put into his craft. There are no words I could use to express what this whole experience has meant to me. To be able to give the one unique amazing person in my life one unique amazing piece of jewelry to share with her what my feelings are and what she means to me. All of this very artistically crafted into a beautiful piece of jewelry. Can't believe I found this guy right here in our backyard in ****** *******. Thank you so much ****. Please all must remember that custom work takes time and patience for it to be right. You and your jeweler are creating something amazing and when it is right you will know. Anything created in a rush has the greater opportunity of not being what was envisioned.
