My wife took me over to meet John as he had done work for family members, incredible work. I brought over a couple diamond rings to see what he could do with them to create a new ring that would be special. He did not let us down. He worked with us on a design, which I must say seemed effortless for him, and created something special. Amazing talent he possesses. Highly highly recommend him for his creativity, vision and craftsmanship. A real pleasure to work with. Thank you John

Our family has been so blessed by Mr. Cooney’s talent. We asked him to set a diamond that my mother had given to my daughter into a gorgeous leaf engagement setting. Mr. Cooney sent us videos and pictures during each stage of the creation process. This made our experience even more personal and special. A few months later we requested he place my engagement diamond into a pendant that had the same details as the engagement setting. The result exceeded our expectations in every way. I must admit I was brought to tears when I first saw his creation. Not only have my daughter, myself, my husband and my parents been blessed by Mr. Cooney, but so will generations to come by the heirlooms we will pass down to them.

John designed my engagement ring with me and exceeded every expectation I had. I wasn't super clear with my ideas but John took my vision and created a truly one of a kind ring that I will never take off. Every step of the process was enjoyable. He made sure to keep us updated and was so easy to talk to when I wasn't 100% loving part of the design, he changed it until I loved it and was very receptive. Honesty , integrity , and quality is what his business stands for and are true characteristics of this man. John will be designing all of my jewelry from now on.

Feel very fortunate to have enjoyed one of Johns exquisite hand crafted sundials for nearly 20 years. I wear it everyday and its such a great conversation piece that has brought me great pleasure.Just had a tune up service performed on it by John and happy to have it back around my neck.Like the sign on the door says Honesty, Integrity and Quality is what you will receive by this true Artisan. John did a rush order for me to size my engagement ring and I can't state how much I appreciated it. He is so professional and humble for someone who has been in the jewelry business for decades. He treated me with such kindness and courtesy even though I was not a high end client at the time, he respects everyone's budget and worked well with my time line. 11/12/2019 My wife bought a beautiful 13 plus carat aquamarine stone while she lived on St Croix in the USVI years ago. Over the years we have often thought of finding a good custom jeweler to create a beautiful setting for her stone. In July of this year (2019) we moved to Stuart Florida. We took Pat's stone to another local jeweler with decades of experience. The result left much to be desired. We then heard about John David Cooney. We made an appointment to go in to talk with John David. I had come up with a couple of possible ideas and wanted John David's opinion. John David sat down with us, went over our ideas, asked many questions to get an idea of what we were looking for, then began to jot down initial ideas of his own. The end result was a magnificent, hand made, one of a kind, true masterpiece in white gold. John David created an exceptionally bold ring out of white gold that really showed of Pat's large aquamarine to the max. We are overwhelmed at the beauty and creativity of the ring that John David Cooney made for us and would highly recommend that anyone looking for that uniquely personal piece of jewelry make a point to visit John David Cooney at his place of business in Stuart Florida. Believe us, you will not be disappointed.

John David Cooney is the one you have been looking for. I recently walked into almost every jeweler in the port st lucie, martin county area looking for a special engagement ring for my girlfriend. I just didn't find what I was looking for and then I found John! Yep - custom work and QUALITY and... yes price was right! He is a local man that works his own shop his way. He answers the phone, communicates via email and works more than normal hours. He is honest, kind and sincere. He became part of my engagement and not a salesman making a commission. I had some ideas as to what I wanted, he pencil sketched his ideas mixed with mine and changed it until we came up with a plan. Then on to the CAD work for renderings... then to create the physical ring with his artistry and personal touches. I did have a diamond that I wanted to use and he worked around it and made a 1 off ring. It was impossible for her to say no! ;) I'm so glad to have met John and we are heading back this week for the wedding bands now :-) A true blessing to know you John and thank you so much for making this engagement so special to us.
