The gym has everything needed to get the job done. I use a wheelchair to get around and found that most of the equipment is accessible because you can pull up close to maneuver your body to get in the equipment. The machine equipment has a lot of space between them so anyone with a medical condition has the room to make it happen. The staff ⚕️ is very nice 👍🏽 and helpful. They have a his/hers bathroom that I'm able to fit comfortably with my wheelchair 🧑🦼. The personality of the members makes the gym environment, it doesn't matter what the equipment looks like. For the most part the members treated me with respect and help me maneuver around the gym but one day a member asked me why I was in a wheelchair and immediately tried to force me to walk. It was very strange and scary. I explained to him my situation but he didn't listen. I have never had this happen before at any gym in Martin County and I have went to all of them because I'm doing a YouTube video about accessibility at gyms in the area. All I can say is strange and I have not went back after the incident. The crazy part of it all was the staff ⚕️ didn't stop this crazy ♂️ man. He said he had healing powers but I think he was a false healer. WATCH OUT FOR THIS GUY!!

I had this membership for several years. Never had a problem until I needed to cancel.
We moved away 1 year ago. We are no longer close to an LA Fitness. Because of their cancellation policies, I couldn't call to cancel. I couldn't cancel in the app. I had to speak with a manager to cancel. Which means, I had to physically be there when a manager was there.
We were in town visiting this weekend. I stopped in this morning to cancel. I was told I had to come back because the manager wasn't there. So I came back later in the day after I was told the manager would be there. My car is packed up with my family and dog. I just needed to cancel the account. When I walked up to the manager, he was immediately rude.
I have never posted a negative review. I would much rather talk with a business and resolve any issue - the benefit of the doubt and all. The real issue here is the intentional roadblocks set up by LA Fitness to cancel your account. The leadership team should be aware of the impact to their members and not create additional ones like I experienced today. I will never have another LA Fitness account.

From taking months to fix anything that breaks, warm water fountains, and allowing very loud violent boxing/mma activity to use 1/2 of the sled field to spar for hours (very disruptive) I’m done…
of course, I mentioned these things in passing to the manager on duty who just smiles like he didn’t hear me.
I even offered to hire a contractor myself to come in and fix the water fountains for him… Again, just a smile, no response😂😂
Only reason I continue to show up is the pool
That’s literally it!

I really like this club. It has a lot to offer. I just moved here and have been working out at different gyms on a free guest pass, by far the LA Fitness in Stuart is my favorite.

Have tried alot of gyms in the area. This is by far the best, but giving the two stars because one of the saunas never works. The men's sauna has currently been down for three months. We have to go all the way to St Lucie West to enjoy their facilities. Wish they would prioritize one of their most valuable assets. Would love to start coming back to this one if they would get the sauna up and running again.

Outdated and in constant disrepair. At any moment, the pool, saunas, and multiple machines are broken. It takes forever for them to fix equipment. There are much better options out there for less money

The sauna has been down for over a month, jacuzzi is going on a week. They really need to step up their game big time!

Good gym . They do need to shake up and offer more updated classes. More yoga classes , bring back so step classes ,these are the same classes for 5 years . Something different…..
